Pole Position Arcade Machine

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer.

I’ve determined the perfect location for my 360� VR camera at concerts would be from the position of the high microphone stand at front-center stage. The rod is attached to a pole clamp at one end and the camera at the other. The combination of clamp, 4” rod and camera places the camera’s lens over 10” from the pole. Enough distance to reduce the image’s blocked area to a line that can be placed at the least distracting position. Our first concert will be this coming fall and I’m anxious to try this setup out at summer rehearsals. It’ll be quick to set up and take down, power cords can be easily routed down the stand and the resulting image of soloists and orchestra should be spectacular.

It does the job at holding the boom pole in a fixed position without damage to the pole. It is easy to rig in standard C stands with grip heads.

Does what it is designed to do. Perfect for holding a boom pole in any position when attached to a light stand with a knuckle (which allows you to adjust the angle of the holder). Plastic coating holds the pole securely and dampens any potential noise. This allows me to have a very lightweight and portable solution to getting the mic in position. So much better than the boom arm mounted on a c-stand that I was using. It worked well but was way to heavy; overkill to hold a lightweight mic.

What makes this tripod amazingly versatile is the ability to position the center pole horizontally and then angle it up and down as desired. The lever release makes this operation smooth and effective. I have another high quality tripod that can position the center pole horizontally but it can't change the angle up and down. I have to do that by adjusting the legs. A bit clumsy at times. This tripod does it using the release lever. Much easier to do.

Performs well for our arcade side art project. very easy to apply with peal and stick backing and and a Bondo plastic spreader to remove bubbles. Great price too. Printed with K3 UltraChrome Inks on Epson 4880. At some point we will probably buy some 3 mil PSA Luster Calendered UV Vinyl Laminate to really protect the artwork.

The well-made and sturdy, almost arcade game style push button knobs are a perfect companion to Adobe Lightroom. One of the most useful gadgets I have purchased. I use them in conjunction with all the other Palette products but they are maybe the most useful. I have set them up to 'Edit in Photoshop', 'Increase Rating', 'Crop Tool', 'Before/After' and 'Undo'. Once you get used to the new way of controlling your workflow, they rock!
