Polk Audio Melee Gaming Headphones Review

Can't give in-depth review as of now because I still have more components coming but Polk Audio is known for quality fidelity.

I have this amp powering 6 Polk Audio 8" outdoor speakers.

I'm a professional audio engineer who owns a lot of headphones, but I also game in my free time. I tend to like Beyerdynamic cans for work but they can be fatiguing in a gaming environment with the din of war blaring. The X2 is very pleasant and smooth without abandoning accuracy. The depth of soundstage is remarkable. Tonal balance is even handed. They lack the subtle compression you get from most cans so you feel encouraged to turn them up, which is no problem because they are so smooth in the top end. Pair them with a vmoda boom pro for gaming. Well suited for mixing too. And, probably the best cans for the money when it comes to just enjoying music.

ASTRO has great audio quality for my gaming experience. However, I also use it for my online classes which have clear audio for both listening and speaking. People hear me speak clearly without sounding like you’re in a tunnel! The headphones are very comfortable, can wear for an extended time without pinching your ears. I opted for the corded headphones so that I didn’t need to be bothered to charge them. Very pleased with the overall quality and design of the product. Would definitely recommend and purchase again!

I have an out door theater and polk audio speakers 3 8s and 6 4s..they have been blown over and rained and snowed on and still sound great..Best money I could have spent..Great speakers..Robert

You can use it also to power with audio more the headphones.

If you don't have a noisy environment, you can leave ANC disabled. I have used other types of gaming headset and I find these a little more comfortable, and while the Arctis has very precise audio, the Sony set feels both precise, and more robust. I'd rank the Sony on top on from other gaming set the sound is much crispy clear than the other ones I’ve used. If you were looking for the best set for Hi-Res audio... this is the right one for you… I would definitely recommend it to my gamers friends .. The game becomes much more elegant to hear du to the ANC.. I enjoyed lots of hours playing while wearing my new headsets..

Just added a 2nd system. For the lower end of the market this certainly outperforns several more expensive models. Polk Audio is well known by audiophiles for a long time. Cant go wrong with this system in a medium sized room.

Oh my goodness, I've got the whole house to myself on a Saturday and man, my Polk Audio MagniFi soundbar is absolutely brilliant and is rocking Van Halen Feel your love tonite and Little Dreamer with clarity, fullness and power absolutely blowing the windows out of my house.

Upgraded my home theater system to these subwoofers from a pair of Polk Audio. Amazing sound. This thing rumbles. Don't waste you money on other subs. Klipsch is the real deal.
