Polk Sound Bar Manual

I recently retired my 25 year old polk surround bar. I never really liked how it sounded when listening to music. For theater surround it was great however. I do have a PSW 111 sub woofer and was trying to decide between the ES15 and ES10 as front speakers. I went with the ES10 and they sound great with the sub woofer. I set my crossover in the receiver to 90hz so i don't need the low base coming from them. The sound stage is excellent as is the imaging.

I replaced my previous Polk sound bar with the S4. What a world of difference between the two! The spatial sound that comes from this bar is amazing. As others mentioned the bass is limited, but it works well enough for me.

I bought my Polk Signa S2 sound bar setup two days ago, and just I downloaded the Polk Connect App tonight. I am experiencing some trouble connecting my device to it. Does anyone know whether the S2 soundbar specifically is compatible with and whether or not it can be configured via the mobile app?

Purchased this to replace a Polk Audio sound bar and sub. Was tired of not being able to hear voices clearly while watching tv/movies. The Sonos Arc is amazing! I'd like to add the sub eventually, but honestly the base is more than adequate without it.

This is the best sounding sound bar I have ever heard! Kudo's to Polk for making such a great sounding bar in such a compact package.

I bought this bar to replace my Polk and I have to say this Sony sound bar puts my last one to shame. Sounds are isolated and S-Force surround is amazing! Make sure you use the cinema sound option for movies!

Excellent companion for Polk Sound ************System**********

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been experimenting with settings on the LG Sound Bar for about a week. Some of this was done blind because LG, like many companies, includes one page of very basic instructions. I found days later (in tiny type) it was my responsibility to download and print a user’s manual. On the remote some buttons are poorly labeled, others are not labeled at all, and we couldn’t find how to adjust sound up or down until I printed the manual. A black-on-black button (not helpful in semidarkness) which I would use probably more than anything else needs to have a color like other buttons. We tried using both optical and bluetooth connections, and there is a tremendous difference in what those options offer. With bluetooth, you use the TV remote to “accept” the sound bar prompt and can adjust sound up or down using that same remote. It also shows the sound level numerically which is helpful. With optical, it automatically turns on the sound bar when the TV is activated, but adjusting sound is done using the LG remote which has that black-on-black button, and no numerical level is displayed on the TV. Our preference is using bluetooth as it’s fewer remotes to deal with. In terms of sound, there is a huge difference between what we had before and the LG. You can adjust settings for more or less bass, and you really hear the difference with increased bass. It adds richness that is wonderful. Acting dialogue is crisp and clear. When music is played during a movie the symphonic effect is incredible. The range is terrific too. Having great sound brings another layer of enjoyment to watching movies. Since I just printed the manual yesterday we haven’t fully explored everything this sound bar can do yet. However, at this point, I would recommend the LG Sound Bar for the amazing quality of sound that it delivers.
