I bought this lens to use with my E-510 and was initially not very happy. I then got some advice on a popular digital photography review forum on how to setup my camera for best results - the lens really shines! This is a fast lens - I used it indoors, handheld in a couple of family events and got beautiful portraits. The details stand out. Outdoors, I got some excellent landscape and bird photos too. This lens isn't for birding but you can still capture, crop and get a very usable image. The lens is very well built. Overall, an excellent lens. 5 |

I use B&W UV filters exclusively on my cameras for two reasons...first, they are easier to clean than the other popular brands...second, they don't jam, making it almost impossible to unscrew them as several other popular brands. 5 |
