Portable Air Conditioner Santa Barbara

I bought this 4x5 pinhole as an inexpensive return to large format photography, having shot the format years ago. You will need 4x5 film and holders to use it effectively. The camera is well made (better than I could have done as a DIY project) and the fit and finish are nice. Although the B&H name for this is Santa Barbara, the Santa Barbara company went away a few years ago. Check out lensless camera website, the new name for this product. The builder is very helpful and even directed me to buy from B&H despite the fact that he sells the cameras directly for more money. There are no electronics, so exposure is basically an educated guess, as is composition since there is no finder or ground glass. You might want to carry a SLR or other camera zoomed to 50mm to get a sense of what the box will see. Have fun.

This filter is awesome and is a must for shooting outside! I just took it with me to Santa Barbara and got some great shots of the skies and water. It really makes the skies brighter, and it's easy to use. I also like the fact that you can twist it around to downplay the contrast. It makes getting that perfect shot must easier!

This speakerphone is very clear on both ends. Was able to hear the other person speaking clearly even when my portable air conditioner was running in the room.

Another present which Santa left on my doorstep is the 26 Westcott Octabox. I was reluctant before buying this, but after reading so many good reviews and viewing some YouTube clips I decided to give it a try. WoW!!! This baby is a-ma-zing!!! The set-up time is less than 5 minutes and much better than the set-up of some portable boxes I previously owned. Very versatile, convenient, portable and easy. The white front cover does not come with Velcro, which is a big plus, because it's just a matter of wearing/ fitting it unto the octabox, which opens and closes just like a regular umbrella. The only downside is that when you want the best performance out of this, you have to purchase the Deflector Plate separately. With this, the soft-box turns into a 26 beauty dish. I recommend this Octabox to those who are experimenting or starting out with off-camera strobe lighting.

As always B&H was very quick to send the package out and it was what we ordered no problem. Our only problem is that the air conditioner is apparently too loud for even this windscreen to totally block the noise. It does a much better job but the mic is apparently extremely sensitive to all sound.

I got this because during the hot months I can't run my air conditioner and computer at the same time due to neighborhood brownouts. If I turn the air conditioner off the computer overheats. This covers the outtages so I can work in comfort without unexpectedly rebooting every few minutes. Thanks!

Electrical power spikes occur for many reasons and your sensitive electronics won't survive unless you have a quality surge suppressor. Most products sold as surge supressors only provide a low level of protection and are little more than power bars. The Isobar offers a high level of protection and, unlike most other surge suppressors, will isolate each outlet from surges caused by other appliances plugged into it. Case in point, I needed to use an air conditioner on the same outlet as a computer. The Isobar effectively protects the computer from power surges as the air conditioner cycles on and off.

I ordered my DELTA Max as part of a bundle with the Wave air conditioner. I also purchased a 160 watt solar panel. I live in the south and am planning to use the Wave while camping to cool my tent in the evening. The solar panel will help recharge the Max during the day. I have not yet received the Wave, but I did get the Max and solar panel. I tested the solar panel and Max out today and everything worked as expected. So far, I am very pleased.

I recently purchased a new NEST thermostat to replace a thermostat custom for my furnace & air conditioner. The wiring was odd and so I called in a Reliance installer, who inspected, then easily installed the NEST. This unit functions flawlessly and it was a conch connecting it to my home wifi and adding it to my NEST account online. The product is unobtrusive and fits beautifully with our decor.
