Portable Battery Pack Not Charging

I loved the fact that this portable battery pack turns off on its own once whatever you’re charging is fully charged. Loved the texture and the built quality. 5 |

Make sure to order extra battery pack. Nice to have while one is charging. 5 |

It is a little expensive to own a portable battery pack for my Amaran light kit 5 |

I bought this item because I was sick of going through batteries for my pocket pen light. I really like that there is 4 batteries in the pack and each battery has its own charging port, as well as the supplied charging cord being able to charge all 4 batteries at once. I have been using these batteries for a couple months now and I will say for a rechargeable battery the run time is pretty darn good. 5 |

After ~5.5yrs, I noticed the internal cooling-fan began running full-time (quiet, but usually only runs if the batteries require charging, such as after an outage), and the usually-cool lower vents of the UPS were now a bit warm due to active charging circuitry. Then the normally 100% charge-level LCD indicator at times showed only 80% despite no outage. Time for a new battery pack! The most involved part was shutting down & disconnecting & eventually reconnecting all the protected equipment. After all was disconnected, out of curiosity I turned the UPS off & then back on - the charge-level indicator dropped from 100% to 60%! The old battery pack was in worse shape than I thought. Replacing the pack involved removing a couple screws at the bottom of the UPS & then sliding the face-plate down, then out. Then disconnect the power connector from the old pack, slide the old pack out, new pack in, reconnect the power connector & reattach the face-plate. Simple & quick! The charge level indicated 100% as soon as I turned the UPS back on - I let it charge for the recommended time anyway although I don't think that was necessary in my case because there was never any indication it was charging: the fan was off again & the lower vents cool to the touch again. My UPS seems to have a separate minor issue - a poorly connected LED that is supposed to illuminate the Power Button when the UPS is turned on. Instead, on mine, sometimes it's lit, sometimes it flickers, but usually it's off. The new battery pack didn't change that - the caution being that if the UPS has a more significant dysfunction, replacing the battery pack could be an expensive way to find out the issue isn't the battery pack. One last comment: Unlike APC, CyberPower unfortunately doesn't seem to have a recycling program for their spent battery packs. 5 |

This charger is quick and efficient for charging the BP819 battery pack. My only complaint is that it is not included with the HF10 camcorder kit. It is certainly worth buying so you can always have a fresh battery ready to go. 5 |

Happy with my exchange (returned a Bolt battery pack for this one). This battery pack lives up to its specs: fast charging, recycling, solid build. I do wish it came with a strap (like the Bolt did) - not a deal-breaker. I can fire off at least 6 - 8 consecutive shots at 1/4 power at a blistering 12fps! I use this battery pack with my Sony A77II DSLR for press events. 5 |

I cant believe this little battery is able to pack so much punch. Charging is easy and quick. I picked up an extra battery for my kit (never hurts to be prepared), though I will say I'm impressed at how long these last. With most properties I shoot (Real Estate / Architecture), I find it hard to burn even half of the battery by the time I'm done. Thank you Profoto for making life so much easier. 5 |
