I had to drill large holes in the very center of the plate to allow for easy in/out of the short end of the cable. After that these reels worked great. Totally worth the price and the headache relief of under/over cable wrapping until your arms fall off. I started with 1 and bought 5 more recently. 5 |

The PSA 1 just features a slightly nicer drill mount if you're not using the clamp, and some sleeves for cable management. I bought the original and it's the best boom arm I've ever used. Hands down recommend it to anyone. The weight of the arm sits on the desk, not off of it like the Gator Frameworks series. The Rode PSA 1 is wonderful. Not a single negative thing to say. 5 |

Go to your garage and get your drill. Use a very small bit--up to you. Drill 2 holes about 5 or 6 mm apart close to the edge of the cap. Breakdown and spend 3 or 4 dollars for a lanyard (for sale here at B&H) thread it and your good to go! I've done this to every cap on every lens I own---it works!! 5 |
