I use this cd player when away from my tablet. It's much more compact and portable than way 2-way tablet with the cd-player attached.

My wife and I purchased the Play5 and the Play1 because our iPod docking station wasn't cutting it and we wanted to be able to play music from SiriusXM in the house. This has allowed us to do those things, use our iPod (through the aux jack) and listen to local radio. The control of these is very simple and intuitive and they sound great.
