I purchased this CD player (yeah, I'm one of THOSE people who still loves to listen to music on CD) in order to eliminate my large CD player and thus save space in my small apartment. The HamiltonBuhl HACX-114 did the trick beautifully! The machine is easy to operate, plays like a dream, and can even handle my homemade CDR's. With the right cords, it can easily hook into your receiver. The knowledgable staff at B&H will fix you up with everything you need. My only wish is that the CD Player included an electric cord because I don't like to rely on batteries for home equipment. Luckily, the player can accommodate an electric cord and I happened to have a spare cord that just fit it. 5 |

I have a one-year-old CD/DVD portable player and I wear hearing aids so I must use headphones when I use the device. However, the output of the player coupled with the weak output of my headphones was anemic. I decided to splurge and buy these and I can honestly say this is the best investment in ME that I've made in a long time. The description of this SONY MDR 7506 says it will provide a louder output than the less expensive headphones that I had been using, and the ad was correct. Instead of turning up the CD/DVD player all the way up and having to strain to hear much, I can now comfortably listen with the player output at half its output. I don't know how SONY did it but the sound is remarkable and very clear. Way to go BH for selling it. PW/SARASOTA Florida 5 |
