I use the charger with my eneloop batteries and it works great. I can discharge and re charge 1 or up to 8 batteries at a time

it is so important to be able to discharge and recharge aa batteries in one operation - this charger does it well and with min effort on your part -also multivoltage and car battery hook up a real plus !

The AA battery charger I had before only handled four batteries at a time and did not have a refresh or discharge capability. Realizing that rechargeable batteries need to be fully discharged periodically I wouldn't buy anything else but this product from now on.

Once you start to use your Phantom, you will quickly realize just one battery is really insufficient. I have 2 additional batteries so this charger gets me all filled up for a day of flying / photography. It also has a discharge feature that does a bank discharge to help keep the batteries at optimal long term storage levels. However, this is just the tray for the 3 batteries and it utilizes your existing charger so it seems a bit overpriced for what you get. But it's still very convenient.

My older Enercell charger had to charge batteries in pairs, would often not charge low batteries unless you could trick it and only did NiMH batteries. This charger will charge single cells which I really wanted. I have several devices that use odd numbers of batteries. It will charge batteries my old charger wouldn't charge. I like the discharge/charge feature to cycle batteries that don't get much use. I use it primarily with Eneloop batteries and it works great. It also does NiCad batteries. The discharge / charge feature would be perfect for NiCads which are much fussier... If I had any :)

This charger is the last one you'll ever need to buy for speedlites. I use 2 speedlites off camera pretty intensively and the discharge cycle is perfect! It keeps the batteries nice and charged up safely for long shoots!

This charger can charge up to eight rechargeable batteries. It can also discharge them first, if you want, but I don't think that's at all necessary with NiMH batteries. A small display panel below each battery shows the discharge/charge state of the battery in that slot.

A very useful charger. It charges fast enough so that I don't ever really have to worry about running out of batteries and the discharge option is useful when I'm traveling. Though, discharging the batteries does take some time.

This charger doesnt leave one guessing about discharge/charge cycle. It has a bright LCD readout of its progress.

Have two of these units and use them constantly. LCD screens on one of them have become somewhat dimmer (?), but otherwise unit continues to work as it should. Big improvement over the assorted 4-AA wall bricks I had before. I keep these nicely set on a corner of my camera table. Love to be able to see how much juice actually remains in the batteries, plus it helps to pinpoint which batteries are becoming unusable (in my experience, some batteries from the same batch will die off before others). Also, this little smart thing handles each battery independently, so it doesn't matter if you mix batteries with different remaining charge levels. I have many AAs for my Nikon Speedlights and battery grips, this takes the mystery out of knowing if they're properly charged before going out on assignment. Love the discharge / refresh feature, which I use often. I haven't needed to use the car charger yet, but it's great to have it included, it completes the kit nicely. Caveat: this is not an ultra-fast-emergency charger. Give it time to do its thing, specially if you plan to use the discharge-refresh cycle before charging. Plan ahead and you'll be fine. Consider also that faster chargers take a heavier toll on battery life-span. This is the best solution to charge AAs and AAAs I've had so far. Kudos to Watson (...and to B&H, as usual).
