Portable Charger In The Cold

I love having my portable charger with me!! And on top of it, it’s my favorite color!

An easy way to manage the cold monster in my bags. I also use them on portable lights. Strong and the color coding is a nice touch.

I wanted to have an umbrella mount for my portable light stand that was easy to store and take with me. It's all metal and made very well as is the cold shoe. I liked the fact that is didn't have the long arm for the tilt adjustment. It easily fits in your pocket and doesn't add more bulk to the light stand if you chose to leave it on it.

Bought it for a quick pinch and now is my favorite portable charger

I have a four bank swittronix vmount charger and this is way more portable, comparable to the redcharger.

As a drone pilot its always a good idea to be able to charge a flight battery while in the field and as long as you have access to a vehicle this charger will prove invaluable. Flying in cold weather, especially with a little wind can drain your batteries much faster than when its warm outside. Realistically it takes about an hour to charge a battery. This charger is also a great way to warm up a battery safely so you can get some more flight time from it even if it's not fully charged and you need some power before it can completely recharge. Or to keep backup batteries warm while you're flying out in the cold. And it can be a life saver when you've forgotten to charge the night before and have to drive to a location and can charge on the way. It also works with the 3 way charger, but that can take some time. When flying in the winter I have the three way plugged in with two batteries mounted, staying warm and fully charged and then switch out the batteries as they need it. I just keep mine in the truck ready to use whenever needed. I certainly don't regret buying mine and consider it an essential for any serious pilot, even if you have multiple batteries on hand.
