It quickly sets up as a portable background stand. It is a very sturdy stand as well. You have to be careful with how you position the legs to avoid people tripping over them when covered with a muslin. Overall, a much better quality and worth the extra money compared to the cheap stands on the market.

Used a few times so far for location shooting. It's light and portable, sets up easily, fits snugly on top of a light stand. Platform is the perfect size for my 15 MacBook Pro. It's nice having the laptop right next to the camera, finally. Only glitch is the tie-down strap covers the magnetic charging port on the left and one of my USB ports on the right. Didn't really need the cupholder, I don't trust keeping a drink right next to my delicate electronics.

I used to separately carry my C-stands, modifiers and lighting cases, and after purchasing this portable sets, it really offloaded the burden of me carrying. If you are looking to start a semi-professional photo career like a YouTube channel, I believe this set will suffice

This is a light, simple and fast to set up and very portable device for viewing the sun.� My rating is based on what it is advertised as doing.� It is not a high magnification, tracking devise.� If that is what you want or need, then you will have to spend more,� Some reviewers have complained that the tripod is not more stable.� The telescope is light and the tripod is adequate � If I were going to use it in my backyard then I would probably use one of my more solid camera tripods.� A friend who has one of these sets explained that he uses it to get a fast view of the sun, if there are sun spots then he sets up a larger scope on a tracking mount.� I'll do the same.� The alignment tool is ridiculously simple and fast.

For location portraits this is ideal. It is very compact, sets up quickly and the material is wrinkle resistant. I used this for corporate head shot in location. This combined with the portable Westcott Orb Apollo October-box you have a great portable studio setup.
