Portable Charging For Electric Cars

Mirrorless is like electric cars, it's taking over where you want it or not. It's an evolutionary change but worth it, with a higher usable ISO, silent shooting in live view (only noise is the mirror clack when you turn it off/on) and 4K video output. Pictures are great and it overall is faster than my 750's. I haven't had it long enough to see how the shutter holds up--the previous failure point of the 750. I use the older D series lenses as they're built like tanks and lately have gotten very cheap. Sadly at the rate things are going this may be the last prosumer DSLR that Nikon will make, and it's made so little impression a lot of photographers don't even know it exists.

I wasn't sure whether to get a charging or non charging vent mount. In the end the non charging seemed less of a problem if I changed cars later

Great item for charging your portable equipment.

All new devices have USB-C connections but you’ll run into older USB charging ports in planes, cars, buses and hotels. This makes easy to use them when the situation arises.

I would recommend this charger. I now keep two unused original Apple cables which I had at home plugged into it: one is from a MacBook Air laptop and the other from an older iPhone. Power Delivery and several built-in electronic protections also make it compatible with any device drawing power from a USB A or C port without questioning whether it will ruin expensive electronics (I used to winder about this when wanting to charge my iPhone). In some cars/ trucks, that includes scenarios like leaving everything plugged-in, even when cranking the engine: aside from voltage fluctuations, voltage spikes, short circuit hazards and other protections, I find its size surprisingly compact in size. It's amazing this outputs so much power (great for large capacity batteries/ faster charging). I have tried it with a work LED light, an iPad Pro, two iPhones models and SONY earphones, charging them using the charger USB Type C port and it's a great experience. I also had an older GoPro Hero 5 charging from the USB A port on the charger and all those instances, it felt like whatever I was charging was full or almost full by the time my commute was over. In the car, I have a couple of 12V outlets to choose from and I decided to have it out by my cup holders (beware, keep, dripping water from cold drinks away) for better airflow and easier access. Some cars cut off power to the 12V outlets when locking the doors, some others don't. That's why I was happy to see that it's got a white LED ring light indicator on the charger to see if it's getting any power. I have attached photos and I will update this review if anything comes up. After over a week of daily use, including a long Memorial Weekend trip, I am quite pleased with it. We tried it, camping on a non-electric site at Hardin Ridge National Forest. It is mostly shade and the solar is still charging. It has a great battery and great solar charging (110).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The electric leads are foldable which is very nice for travel. The charger will charge Macbook Pro which is perfect. It charges at 30W which is enough to be able to use it while its battery is charging. I can also use it for my Android phone and it will do fast charging there.

I use this for my camera and computer equipment. It is portable and powerful. This electric duster is very relevant to my needs since it compliments my work. It makes life easier for me. Somehow there is nothing that is not great about it. It just works and very useful.

Love it! Super easy to use, portable, no need for an extra charging cable, it's all done by USB-C, or USB-C to 3.0!

This is a good, reliable portable power station. Fast charging is the best! I use a few of these to keep the fridges going during power outages.
