I was looking for a reliable portable power station at a reasonable price to help me get back into camping with essential electronics. The River Pro 2 seemed like a good fit. The fast charging works as advertised. The solar panels are easy to set up and charge well, especially if you adjust during the charging as the sun moves. I was pleasantly surprised that my CPAP will work for two nights on a full charge. It easily handles basic equipment and tasks to include inflating air mattresses, charging phone, and charging hand vacuum cleaner.

I have a LiFePO4 100Ah battery that I use for some portable operations in the field. If I happen to have AC power then I can plug it in to this unit and turn it into a 12.6 VDC power supply. If I need to I can use it to recharge my battery. TRYING TO USE A BATTERY CHARGER TO POWER YOUR ELECTRONICS CAN EASILY KILL YOUR ELECTRONICS. Most electronics do not like voltage over 15 v and many chargers will start out at 16-18v and will fry your electronics so this device has a specific power supply mode at a steady 12.6V. Perfect.

I am not an expert by any means on radios or electronics. The sound is wonderful on this small sized radio. I can reach many more stations than on my C Crane radio with great clarity. The station that I listen to most has a weaker signal and this is the only station that I need the antenna extended to bring it in clearly and it does so better than the CC radio. It is light weight, seems well made and it is a handsome radio. I would consider buying another.
