Portable Device And Car Battery Charger

Originally bought my Watson portable car charger for my Nikon D5300 battery. Didn't realize that the plates were interchangeable, so when I upgraded to my new D810, I figured I would need to buy a whole new charger. But no...just a new adapter plate and I was all set. Great product!

This charger works just as great as my Nikon Charger. I like that I'm able to charge my camera battery in the car. This is a great charger at a great price. MUST BUY!

There's a lot to like about this charger: you can test battery strength (without even plugging it in to any kind of power), you can power by AC wall plug, or even by (provided) DC car-lighter plug so you can recharge batteries inside your car. I love the fact that I can change plates and recharge different batteries entirely (I just got the two independent plates to be for Nikon EL15's). You can even power a USB device at the same time, in case your digital camera or camcorder needs its batteries topped-up. There's overcharge protection that turns the device off automatically (to avoid harming batteries), as well as overheat protection. It even detects defective or shorted batteries and protects the charger. LCD screen is easy to read... charging time (right now) is around an hour, but it can take longer for older batteries. This thing weighs about 7.5oz (218g) and sits quietly in the corner doing its thing. :-)

Especially for long trips. This dual charger has helped this so much! Now two can plug their device in and that really cuts down on the drama. Car rides are suddenly much more peaceful and a lot less stressful for the driver. Works well. I plan to get another for my other car. Works for Apple and Android. Highly recommended.

They charge a device, sure, but not very quickly and even slower if you’re using the device at the same time. This charger actually charges quickly and while devices in use. We took an iPhone from 6% to 71% with phone in use for gps and a delivery app in 22 minutes. Thats insane for a charger anyway, let alone a car charger! Highly recommend, it’s amazing!
