I keep the WD My Passport Essential 2TB Portable HD connected to my laptop. I store all of my music, movies, pictures and Windows weekly backups on the portable hard drive. This allows me to keep a lot of free space on my laptop HDD. Because of its portability, it is a simple process to take it with me should I wish to have material downloaded from another computer or if I wish to share any files that I have stored on it. It’s very compact – smaller than the size of a credit card. And it's easy to use, just plug in and drag files over.
