Portable Game Console With 400 Retro Games

Bought this to play retro game consoles on a 4k TV. And it does an amazing job. I use svideo from the console into the kanex and output 720p over HDMI. This from my experience looks the best. My games look much better than just running through composite into the TV and there is no lag. From what I can tell anyway. Much better than the cheap converters on Amazon 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kingston SSD is awesome. It comes with a dedicated heatsink, which makes it perfect for adding more storage for game console. After installation, I migrated all the games to the new storage location and loaded all the games without any issues. I nearly doubled the storage of my game console by adding this memory module. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since game console makers can't seem to come to grips with the fact that their sames take up so much memory and that they, for reasons unknown, still insist on releasing systems with only enough memory to store 3 games on (War Zone, Cold War and Vanguard) them...wanna play the new Resident Evil Village? Too bad because you can't...wait a minute! Yes you can! With the samsung - 980 PRO PCIe ® 4.0 NVMe™ SSD 1TB you can increase that measly manufacturer supplied memory and store more games than the console itself does ND with zero lag, zero overheating and amazing performance! I give it all the stars and only wish I had been able to afford the 2TB lol 5 |

I'm not building anything super fantastic in it as I'm building something for playing retro games with PC emu on Debian. Small and has a pleasing aesthetic, wish it came in beige but white will have to do. Basic build since it's for emulation, not virtualization: MSI H510I 8Gb 2x4Gb of 2666Mhz Corsair RAM Corsair SF450 Noctua NH-L9x65 (I like quiet) Pentium Gold G6405 (Pentium Case Sticker!) 5 |

I’m using specifically to play retro games. It was recommended on a MISTer subreddit. I can’t say how good it would be for more traditional uses, but its perfect for my gaming. 5 |

Simple to use, feels solid, and I love the retro look. It's a real conversation starter. The viewfinder is large and clear, but you really have to be conscious of where the lens is pointing. A lot of my shots ended up off-centre to where I thought I was looking. I'll just have to get used to not tilting the camera when it's pressed up against my face. Also, I recommend always using the flash indoors, even if you think the room is bright enough. The film stock I used was Kodak Ultramax 400 and Fujifilm Superia 400. 5 |
