I got this to mount a 10 inch LCD monitor to my tripod or light stand when needed. Works wonderfully for that purpose and I can see a bunch of other uses for the additional parts. Typical Manfrotto build quality with the small exception of the handle on the clamp. It's made out of plastic and not ratcheting. I guess I'm just spoiled with the rest of my Manfrotto gear. The monitor is easy to setup. It comes in 3 pieces the lcd panel, the stand and the base. No tool is required as it just clicked together. The box comes with a HDMI cable. Note that it doesn’t come with other adapter like display port or VGA. If you own an older laptop, you willl need to go out and purchase an converter or separate cable. The power button is behind the screen. It was hard to find and it does have any label on it which is strange. You need to read the instruction to make sure you press the right button. The screen is bright and clear. Color is quite vibrant. I have done color calibration yet and will do so when I am free. Overall the monitor is a great buy for the price. 5 |

Unlike most portable monitors where you have to stand them separately from the laptop, the Duex Pro Portable Monitor is attached to the monitor using very strong magnets. This is super convenient for someone like me who works out of coffee shops at times where there isn't much space. And because it's lightweight (much lighter than I expected), it doesn't weigh you down when you carry it.
