Portable Monitor Cover Stand

This portable monitor has been designed very well. It is sleek, bright and light enough to add to my backpack.� The magnetic cover has multiple angles in landscape mode and I like having the option to set it to portrait. It is truly my favorite gadget at the moment.

Ok... So I just can't stand a lot of scratches on the monitor cover. Bought this as a backup. Also use the Vello screen protector along with this cover. Yea, I'm a little funny about this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been working with it for about 3 weeks now, and I have absolutely no complaints. The size and proportions are great, it's very lightweight given how substantial the construction is, and the way the magnetic cover fits and flexes is really nice. The stand built into the back casing is really great design; it's so much more stable than propping up the monitor against a folded cover like most of the monitors you see out there. I'm not sure what kind of material the cover is made of, but it's strong and very thin and lightweight, and looks and feels like it will last for a long time, unlike leather or other materials that will wear and/or tear rather easily. It works great with my 2020 13" MacBook Pro. It has all the ports and cables you will ever need for any configuration; nice to not have to deal with dongles or other connectors. The monitor profile is so thin and sleek (even with the built-in stand) that I can fit both the monitor and my laptop very securely into a 15" sleeve, and with that great cover, it's well protected. The only inconvenience was the monitor controls; the menu navigation was a little confusing, but once I got the hang of it, it was no problem. You get amazing quality and the trusted ViewSonic name for such an amazing price! I'm really glad I went with this monitor.

Unlike most portable monitors where you have to stand them separately from the laptop, the Duex Pro Portable Monitor is attached to the monitor using very strong magnets. This is super convenient for someone like me who works out of coffee shops at times where there isn't much space. And because it's lightweight (much lighter than I expected), it doesn't weigh you down when you carry it. Highly recommend for remote workers and anyone who needs a portable monitor that's convenient to carry around.
