Portable Monitor For Desktop 4K

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a longtime desktop user, I've recently decided to upgrade to my first 4K monitor and can't believe it took me this long. The Samsung Viewfinity S8 4K UHD monitor is the perfect size, resolution and form factor for gamers, remote workers, and power users. The 32" display gives me the real estate I need for multitasking and is the perfect distance for 4K movies and gaming. It feels more immersive than my 77" OLED 4K TV. The easy swivel and 90 degree rotation for vertical documents are the icing on the cake. I wish this had a more calibrated filmmaker mode for watching movies in HDR, but in all other ways this desktop knocks it out of the park. Now all I need is a second one...

extremely satisfied with my purchase! if you are someone who needs an extra monitor for your laptop or desktop, and you are looking for a uhd (4k) display then think no more and get this display. it has decent viewing angles, huge screen real-estate (due to high resolution), and very accurate color profiles. i am using this monitor for almost all kinds of work, reading, graphic editing, web browsing, multitasking, and even gaming. it's been more than 2 months now and it is working just great. i got this display at an extremely reasonable price during the black friday deal. so i like it even more :d

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This desktop monitor was a first for my husband and I. We had never had a 4k UHD, let alone smart monitor. Setup was super easy and so was connecting to the internet. I was actually really surprised by how light it was, too. It is primarily used by my husband, but I also use it for any time he's watching our TV, lol. I love how the picture is wide and big enough, that it really feels like another TV you're watching or playing games on.

I own 3 of these for a portable triple monitor setup. I'm tired of seeing only 1080p or 4K 15.6 inch monitors. 1080p isn't often enough. 4K is a little overkill and you might as well change the resolution on your desktop to 2.5K. Well, this is a native 2.5K display. Oh and it's 16:10 aspect ratio so it's actually 2560x1600. The extra height is glorious for working in Davinci Resolve, Blender, and any other program. It also has full size HDMI which is very rare for quality portable monitors. Don't buy the garbage you see floating around on Amazon when it comes to portable monitors. Buy the ASUS. ViewSonic also has some quality options. I like ViewSonic's 1080p OLED, the physical design is better but it's micro HDMI and well ... it could have been 2.5K. Overall ... as of 2024 this is literally the best portable IPS OLED monitor that's affordable you can buy. I used my xRite color calibration tool to calibrate each monitor to 400 nits and Rec709. You can confidently color grade on these. They have minimal back light bleed. ASUS has been releasing 2.5K 15.6 inch 16:10 (same resolution) OLED panels in some of their latest laptops, so we might see a new Zenscreen like this in 2025 as an OLED panel. However, you can't go wrong with a tried and true IPS panel. These are great. Go for it!

I love this product so much it offers what I need at a seconds notice. I use this every day for my productions and it provides me with the best 4K monitor that is portable.
