Portable Monitors For Dex Pad

Ok so Dex might not replace the need for a PC for EVERYONE, but the same can be said about anything other than a PC. Truth is, the usability and capabilities of Samsung Dex are definitely underated and reviewers should talk more about it. The Dex pad has worked great for me. I initially bought the Dex cable (straight USB-C to HDMI) but it was limited (no charging, no usb ports, and no ultrawide monitor support). With this pad I was able to connect and see my phone in ultrawide, works great!!! With this pad I can connect mouse and keyboard, watch youtube while looking at 6 tabs in my browser and answering texts, all in my ultrawide monitor!!! Just dont expect it to be a PC, its not, and its not trying to be. One more thing: this thing includes the fast charger AND the HDMI cable!!!!!What?!?!?!

Yes - is only day one but really impressed with the DeX pad - think that it is the way "computers" will go in the not too distant future - ie one device that you can use in lots of ways. Would like to see the Google Business apps have the same functionality in Dex as Office 365 so hopefully that is not too far away...

I was very excited, as I received my DeX pad. It works verry simple with perfect quality. BUT: For better protection, I bought the original Samsung Protective Case with stand for my S9+ and now it will not fit with the USB-C port. Now, when i want to use my DeX pad, I must remove the hole case. Please, Samsung, for those issue, sell a seperatly usb-c to usb-c connector maybe not longer then 1 centimeter.

I wasn't expecting this,even though I bought similar Yamaha studio monitors years ago! I believe they were the MSP5 and had them for almost about 25 years and sold them for a reasonable price on eBay. They were exceptionally good monitors that lasted while I had them, so hopefully these would outlast the previous pair. They look great! I haven't set them up as yet. I need to order another pad for the other monitor. I believe B&H sent me one free when I ordered 2 monitors, so I was trying to order add another pad, but the B&H app wasn't enabling to do that.So, I waited until after Christmas to open and they only sent one with the pair,so I have to order the other. That's not a problem because B&H is highly recommended by me.

Great purchase. Works great with my Lenovo monitors and think pad. Easy set up right out of box. Good sound.

This is just what is needed for splitting a signal for monitors or recording. With the ground lift and Pad buttons makes it very versatile.

I got this for my Lenovo think pad so I could use 2 27 inch monitors. Had 2 other HDMI splitters that only allowed duplicate the desktop. This made the Laptop see both monitors and could extend to both of them.
