Portable Multi Parameter Monitor

I consider multi-touch function than display quality for a portable monitor. The Viewsonic TD1655 gives me a good multi-touch in a reasonable price. Recommended.

The minilogue is a full fledged 4 voice polyphonic analog synth with 1 LFO. You can save patches (200) and the oscilloscope is helpful for patch building. When recalling patches, there are several options for the knobs too-- the default is to 'jump' to the value that the knob is turned to, but there is also a 'catch' option that won't change the parameter until you move the knob to where it was in the saved patch-- this is very helpful for live performance to ensure smooth parameter transitions! I have been using in both studio and live setting. Overall a surprisingly well made and feature-full analog synth... hard to believe korg packed everything in at such a low pricepoint for analog polys!

The Logitech StreamCam Plus is great; clean images with a ton of very useful parameter adjustments for various degrees of broadcasting.

Powers my Sony 5 portable monitor

By price, this is the best portable recorder and podcasting solution I have ever used. It looks large and feels slightly oversized for portable recording but then, when you consider what it can do, it feels absolutely tiny. The H8 fits in with mid-range camera gear in terms of sturdiness - if you are recording where travel may abuse it - get a case. Quick start-up, touch screen was a little finicky but easy to get oriented to - card formatting was a little messy too. All together the setup was quick, easy, intuitive, and trouble-free. Field recording was easy - bundles I already had worked well enough. I especially appreciate the cover on the expansion port. Great quality with the mic capsule. Be aware, while handling it directly, there is some case noise. Try to set-up a hands-free situation. Music app is fun - I will have to explore the potential later. Podcasting is impressive. The sound pads were fun and I look forward to customizing them. Sound Pads can be adjusted level-wise but it is for all of them so I need to adjust my custom sounds before loading them. Sounds also need to be in .wave and match your show recording bitrate. They also disable input 3&4. I could use more headphone outputs rather than carrying another piece of gear but I suppose that means more intrusion points. I also used it for a multi-channel audio interface. I have some things to learn before that works as I want. Great little audio multi-tool!

I've been using this as a multi-purpose unit from camera battery to portable power bank for recharging my phone and other USB devices. It's quite compact for 98Wh and pretty great price too.

Event before the latest firmware, this has been a great portable encoder for minimal setups. I've run a multi hour event through it from a 4 channel switcher in the middle of a remove park with no issues. Now that this can switch between the usb and hdmi inputs, as well as the audio mixing it can do now, this has become a fairly complete streaming solution that can fit into your pocket. Not event getting into the countdown timers, multi source/super source scenes, web page overlays, etc. that this thing can do. YoloLiv is very quick to push valuable updates that work. One of the better purchases I've made in the last couple of years.

I shoot weddings, and for some of the weddings I shoot I can't always park near the venue. I used to make 2-3 trips back to the truck to get everything, but with the multi-cart, I just have to make one. Being portable and foldable is the best quality. I can just fold it up when I'm done and throw it in the back of my truck. The solid rubber wheels roll over just about anything, and you never have to worry about them going flat. Well worth the money.
