Portable Paper Printer For Phone

I got a pocket printer (from a two letter brand) a few years ago as a gift. I loved the idea of a portable printer I can slip into a bag and print straight from my phone. The BIGGEST problem I had with that one is the image quality. These days, I just want clear, high quality images that last. The SELPHY is the best of both world! It’s slightly bigger but still super light and portable. But the image quality, it’s just WOW. How does something so small print photos like this? Setup is super easy, and I print straight from my phone. Sometimes I use Instagram or VSCO to edit first, and it comes out gorgeous. I couldn’t be happier. Oh, and one thing I didn’t know: INK comes with the paper! I bought extra photo paper and was so surprised.

#CanonIVY #Sponsored. I love that the camera is portable for printing or you can print from your phone to the camera. Also the portal printer is awesome for printing from other devices. My son loves that the back of the film is a sticker and I love the sticker dots. o was able to print out a nice circle for the back of my phone. The app is great and we love the customization of borders and stickers you can add to you photos. This is the full package. Only thing I think we didn't like so much was the size of the camera its self is awkward. If it were possible to be as sleek as the stand alone portable printer that would be more ideal for carrying in your pocket. But, overall we love it!

I received this a few days ago, took a few minutes to set up but for a portable printer it does a good job. i printed a photo on plain paper and it looked nice, i haven't tried using glossy photo paper yet but I'm sure the quality would only be better. I have used this combo with my PictureMate Charm personal photo lab for sometime. Never once, have I gotten a bad print. The ink, colors pop, the paper is simple the best matte paper on the market. I have used all of the available name brands paper and portable printers, and I have found there is none that comes close to the PictureMate charm and its ink/paper. The high gloss paper in the 200 series is great also, if you prefer a gloss finish. But for professional quality/luster, eye poping colors, semi sheen output, the Matte paper is simply the best. I am a avid user of epsons printers large and small. Their papers and inks are unrivaled. The Epson company just went away from the 200 series product portable lab  printers, for a new portable printer, that really isnt portable. Unlike the 200 series, which has a battery operation capability, the new printer does not.  I tried their new photo portable lab, and while it is good, it does not reach the level of the 200 series printers. Last month alone, I printed 3600 4X6 prints on my 225 charm, all without one failure or bad print. I never had a requirement to clean or adjust/align the printer heads either. Its so good, I havent used my large format printers for 4X6 in months.

This is a great top of the line printer perfect for everyday use. It takes about 15 mins to get it all set up and ready to go. It is ease to use with just your smart phone! Most people use their phones more than anything so being able to use your phone on wifi is a plus. Holds plenty of paper to be able to print a lot at one time. I print a lot for my children for worksheets for school and also arts and crafts. Prints fast and the ink dries so fast. No one likes ink that has to dry after printing as you normally want to use that print as soon as it is printed. I also print a lot of pictures as I am a photographer and this printer does a tremendous job on the print quality. I tested prints on different types of paper like cardstock, regular paper, photo paper and the quality is just amazing. Prints so clear and fast. So no matter what you need this printer for it does all jobs perfectly. It is heavy as it is a bigger printer to do big jobs. Has 2 paper trays and prints on different sizes as well. I hoped it has a copy/scanner as sometimes I need to make a copy but out side of that this is a wonderful printer. I was a tad worried how it would be to set up a printer first to my phone, before I even had the computer on, but the step-by-step instructions were great. It was very easy to figure out how to set up the printer, having the ap on my phone made my life a breeze. The Ap went through step-by-step instructions, including pictures on what to do. It was very easy & mess free to fill the tanks with the ink. This is great, since I have kids.( Teenagers) who are not about keeping anything in my life clean. I love how the fill tanks tell the ink to stop flowing while filling the tank. Even though the printer came with a install CD, my computer does not a CD Drive. It was very easy to go online & find the correct software to get my computer & printer hooked up together. Within 10 mins, my ink was ready for use. Printing - so easy. My previous printer was very hard to load the paper into it & get it to load properly. Having the load paper tray on the bottom is a wonderful idea. I am able to move the little lever for different sized paper & not have to worry about how anything lines up. I really liked the colors that printed out. They are rich & vibrant. While trying to print a picture, the printer even told me I had the wrong sized paper in the feed try. I was able to easily print from both my phone & the computer. This is a total game changer!!!! Now everything really is in my back pocket, since my phone holds so many photo's that I want to print. I totally would recommend this printer to everyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The printer was easy to remove from the box and place on the desk. It was relatively light (for an MFP). The printer did not have Wi-Fi and thus was not Wi-Fi ready and was a bit hesitant since I had faced issues with couple of printers from 15 years ago without Wi-Fi and printer from phone or tablet but this HP lasejet was very easy to install and and connect to Wi-Fi. Just connected from the google nest routers back port to the printers network port and all worked perfectly and in 10 minutes I was printing from my iPad, phone and computer. The best features of the printer are two sided automatic printer and the speed. Scanning and copying documents was convenient and easy with the document feeder and the paper tray takes a full load of paper. All in all, very happy with the printer.

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Assembly: The printer came in a small box/packaging. There was not much to put together but add the photo paper. The instructions made it very clear on how to add photo paper to the printer. I was able to power on and print a picture from my phone within ten minutes. This included downloading the application for my phone device to be able to print them and connecting the printer to my phone device by Bluetooth.How it compares to other similar products: the colors on the photos are the best I have ever printed. They come out faster and there is no drying time. Overall: It`s a high quality product that works well and fast. Easy to assemble and easy to use. Can make for a great gift. I find the product expensive as compared to other products that promise to print your pictures quick. However, the higher cost may due to the better quality of the printed picture.
