Portable Projectors With Usb Port

Because it is portable, you can connect it to any of your devices having a USB port, and here you are with absolutely pristine sound!

I needed a powered port to run several USB portable hard drives. This one does the job. I can run 2 standard and one high speed portable drive off one USB laptop port when needed. I just wish I didn't need it...I wish laptops had the ports we want instead of the ports the manufactures thing we want... #sweepstakes

I use these SanDisk portable SSD's for saving the photos I take while traveling. This 4TB is hold more large files than I normally take on long trips, unless I am shooting with a 40-500 mega pixel camera. I am sure it also hold large video files as well. SanDisk is well known for highly reliable drives, memory cards and everything they produce. This drive comes with two cables, USB-C and USB-c to USB-3, they pretty much hook up to every port and style port you can use these days.

This is a nice compact 7 port USB hub. I didn’t order it for the switches, but it turns out they are very useful. If you have a card reader or a portable drive plugged into this you can just turn them off with the switch when you don’t need them. My Hoodman card reader gets warm plugged into a USB port when it’s not in use. So I just turn it off and save wasted power instead of fumbling around with the cables trying to unplug it. I’ve had it for a week and it’s worked fine with two card readers and a portable external drive while I been transferring my photos.

Excellent value and extremely fast portable drive. More than twice as fast as my other drives when archiving through a USB 2.0 port and five times faster using a USB 3.0 port. Absolutely no problems with the WD provided cable, which had been discussed as problem for some. Only two of my four computers have USB 3.0 ports, so I will be upgrading the other two soon!!

When I need to travel with a large volume of files (more than will fit on my 64GB flash drive), I prefer to load up the files on my portable SSD. The SSD has a USB Type C port, so I use this cable to connect the portable SSD to my phone (which also has a USB Type C port). The cable works great, and I achieve pretty fast data transfer rates. BTW... if you are connecting a drive with an exFAT file system to a Google Pixel 2, you'll need to install a third party app to be able to read the drive (the native driver will say that the drive is unsupported).

My only gripe is no usb port on any sonos eq. to enable music library on my portable hard drive to be played , so had to buy NAS to play it which was an added expense to an already expensive system.

Used this to output a 3840x1200 DVD-D to two side/side projectors with edge blend. I adapted the output immediately to HDMI right off the outputs, then into HDMI/Ethernet Baluns till finally getting to the projectors. Despite all that, the quality and reliability seemed rock solid through all of it. Used MAC Mojave on a 2014 iMac with no problems.  The only hiccups was that I found it helpful to have all the devices powered up first, then connect the display port cable to the iMac, then the USB cable to the Mac. After that, open the EDID manager window to confirm or re-apply settings to ensure stability after a reboot. This may have been entirely unnecessary as it seemed to recognize right away, but trying a bunch of different resolutions during setup it seemed to be the best recipe for stability in a high stakes scenario. And I also purchased a longer high quality display port cable rated for that full resolution; I didnt even try the cable included because I read questionable things about that cable.
