Portable Solar Generator For Air Conditioner
DPKY | 2024-06-12 01:19:21 |
I ordered my DELTA Max as part of a bundle with the Wave air conditioner. I also purchased a 160 watt solar panel. I live in the south and am planning to use the Wave while camping to cool my tent in the evening. The solar panel will help recharge the Max during the day. I have not yet received the Wave, but I did get the Max and solar panel. I tested the solar panel and Max out today and everything worked as expected. So far, I am very pleased. 5 |

Traveled first year with our RV all the way from Virginia to Colorado…. Boon dock a couple of places and it was darn hot!! No power. We had our portable fan as to minimize RV battery but just could not cool it enough. I have added and upgraded our RV battery since last year. In addition I purchased the ecoflow pro, ecoflow pro extra battery, ecoflow portable generator, and also the ecoflow 400W solar panel. I have tested it out and so far it works pretty darn good. Granted it will provide only 6 hours to power essentials and running one of 2 15k BTU AC. Of course I had to add softstart to the RV AC (very easy install). I plan on buying additional extra battery from ecoflow and of course double capacity to the RV batteries as well. Anyway for a beginner RV’er this solved my problems for cooling without excessive manipulation to the RV power system. I just used the 30A converter to 50 A directly to RV power input…and will power on for at least 6 hrs without the 400w solar and portable generator (haven’t tested generator yet) connected. We will see how it goes this year but so far I am very happy with our ecoflow system. Side note I build solar panel holder with pvc wood as it is light, flexible, and easily transported in RV…set it up so it will take less than 5 min to set up. 5 |

This speakerphone is very clear on both ends. Was able to hear the other person speaking clearly even when my portable air conditioner was running in the room. 5 |

Solar panel is solid and well made. It provides a welcome and practical alternative to a gas powered generator. 5 |

Stop looking. This is it. After extensive research, I came to the conclusion that EcoFlow is the brand I'd choose for a solar generator. Take my word for it, get one. 5 |

This setup is used to power our refrigerator and freezer during power outages. The Delta 2 and extra battery is charged with an EcoFlow 160 watt panel and/or a propane powered generator AC port. The Delta 2 is easy to manage through the app and I hope to purchase an additional solar 160 watt solar panel and an EcoFlow Smart bi-fuel generator to supplement our setup. 5 |

Though I haven’t used this as a solar generator yet it has become my go to for power in my remote cabin in the Adirondack Mountains. Just the convenience of being able to power a few lights, tv, and sat modem without running a generator is awesome! I can recharge in about two hours off the generator that I used to run all day to power up my camp. I eventually will add some solar panels at some point but right now it’s great to not to have to run a generator all day. I had looked into buying panels, inverter, and batteries but found this as an very viable option. 5 |

Very good for backing up necessities during a power outage, and I plan to use it instead of installing an inverter in my truck. I have a river 2 max for my CPAP, and already had a EF220 watt solar panel for that, so when I got the D2 I purchased a second 220w portable panel. Charging from the grid, solar, or an inverter generator is pretty quick and easy. I can now run my refrigerator, small chest freezer, and CPAP with plenty of extra capacity for “comforts” and have more options than just firing up a generator (which isn’t always easy or convenient, and definitely not quiet). 5 |
