Portable Solar Panels For Charging Batteries
KatWoo18 | 2024-09-13 08:44:17 |
After charging my two batteries with my personal gas generator up to 85%, I chose to do the next 15% with 1 (one), 220 bifacial portable Solar panel. Eco flow suggests up to four panels. it did take over four hours to do 15% in full sun. The solar panel was very easy to set up, just click and connect. The hardest part was setting it up for sunlight because it folds in four panels, I had to make sure I didn’t crack the glass panels. I am a 63 year old female, using a solar panel for the first time. Next time I use it it will be a lot easier because the learning curve is over. 5 |

Having owned several brands of portable batteries for our off grid solar living, I was pleased to receive the DELTA 2 addition recently. The battery is extremely fast charging, reliable, and as advertised. Well designed and the app is a plus for monitoring. I love that it is lithiumFE battery based which will allow many cycles of charging. 5 |

Solar panels are great and provide faster charging than I thought they would. They are extremely heavy however and I was unable to move them around well. Also, they are floppy and it is difficult to easily reposition them for sunlight. If you are not very strong and small in stature, you should consider a smaller panel set. 5 |

October 2022 purchase. Charging from 200 watt fixed solar panels off grid. Purchased EcoFlow adapter. I have used a 1500 watt water kettle, induction cook top, and 12volt cooler 24/7. So far so good but if there are any issues I hope the company has options for repairs in California. 5 |

Really satisfied with the Delta pro that I backed through Kickstarter. It really exceeded my expectations from it. Using it for my self built campervan as main powersource and it has all the handy features built in. Really convenient to be able to directly plug in your solar panels for charging and charging from your car alternator while driving. This product really delivers, only minor downside that I could find is not being able to simultaneously charge with solar panels and 12v car adapter. They use the same charging port on the Delta Pro. Overall great purchase and would definitely recommend! Great invention! 5 |

Bought this unit during the initial release and it is awesome. Still have the EF pros and they are great(certainly more portable), but the ultra us on a whole other level. 5.2k running my dryer just to test it and it wasn't even trying. Dead quiet@ over 5k watts. I currently have it charging with 3.6k of solar on the high PV port and it kicks on when the suns come up with less solar coming in than it takes to kick on my original delta pros!! My 300 watt folding solar panels just have to have decent sunlight to charge the ultra when the original delta pros won't charge unless the panels are in full sun conditions. Only drawback is you can't grab the handles and lift it as the unit just sits on the battery and is only connected/secured by the connecting cable. That being said it's purpose isnt to be portable, so if your your hesitating on getting this as a whole home backup, don't. Just pull the trigger. You'll be happy you did! 5 |

Great portable power when needed. It’s a small package but can power a few essentials when needed. I will be purchasing another with more solar panels for power independence 5 |

We have been looking for a portable solar battery for tailgating and backyard football/movie watching. Watched and read many reviews and was excited when the Delta 2 came out and immediately purchased it. We already have 2-160w EcoFlow solar panels which we plan to use with the Delta 2. My only complaint is that although it can accept 500w charging, the 60 amp voltage limits it to 2 panels. Other than that, it is excellent and highly recommended. 5 |

I used solar panels, charge controllers, AGM batteries, and inverters for YEARS when I built out another camper. I was always searching for direct sun to 'refill' my batteries. I was such a pain—a real distraction to my travels. Now, I use an Ecoflow battery generator and their 800-watt charger. Today, I installed the charger. It was very easy compared to all the old components. So, I only need to take a short drive to charge my battery generator fully. My battery generator and charger are both connected to Ecoflow's app. I can watch the progress of charging and discharging. The app is very professional and provides way more information than I need. But it's nice. The battery generator eliminates the need for solar panels, a charge controller, and an inverter. The batteries in the generator are much better quality than the old AGM batteries. I'm so happy to have made the switch. I would recommend their products 100%; I was lucky to have purchased them during Prime Days and saved a considerable amount. They provide quality products. I'm a happy camper without thinking about the charge of my batteries. Life is good. 5 |
