I put this battery backup/solar generator to use and was not disappointed. It is currently hooked up to 300W solar panels and provides pass-through power to my medium sized residential refrigerator. Excess power goes to recharge the batteries when the sun goes down and it still powers the refrigerator. I took this out camping and was able to power my tent trailer for about 18 hours on a single full charge operating led lights' occasional water pump, and constant 3 way Dometic refrigerator (on AC setting). The refrigerator seems to have a constant draw even when the inside and contents are already cooled. The EcoFlow is heavy and cumbersome to carry by myself. But it does come with solid wheels that make it easy to roll around with the extendable handle. Remote app works fine and can connect via BT or WiFi. When through WiFi I can still control it when I am far away and connected with Internet. This is a keeper for me and will definitely be used as backup power in the event of a power emergency, or when I need power in remote situations.

Traveled first year with our RV all the way from Virginia to Colorado…. Boon dock a couple of places and it was darn hot!! No power. We had our portable fan as to minimize RV battery but just could not cool it enough. I have added and upgraded our RV battery since last year. In addition I purchased the ecoflow pro, ecoflow pro extra battery, ecoflow portable generator, and also the ecoflow 400W solar panel. I have tested it out and so far it works pretty darn good. Granted it will provide only 6 hours to power essentials and running one of 2 15k BTU AC. Of course I had to add softstart to the RV AC (very easy install). I plan on buying additional extra battery from ecoflow and of course double capacity to the RV batteries as well. Anyway for a beginner RV’er this solved my problems for cooling without excessive manipulation to the RV power system. I just used the 30A converter to 50 A directly to RV power input…and will power on for at least 6 hrs without the 400w solar and portable generator (haven’t tested generator yet) connected. We will see how it goes this year but so far I am very happy with our ecoflow system. Side note I build solar panel holder with pvc wood as it is light, flexible, and easily transported in RV…set it up so it will take less than 5 min to set up.

The Dou charger not only allows the charge of 2 batteries but it can use different power supplies. I am able to charge 2 batteries at a times using a solar battery pack such as the DigiPower Solar Portable Dual USB 15,000mAh Battery RF-PBSLR15 (bhphotovideo.com). It can also be plugged into any USB charging port.

After owning a J***** 500 for a few months, I wanted something a bit more powerful that could serve as an emergency backup power source considering the outages from fires these last few years in Northern California. I was beyond thrilled when I received and tested my new Delta Pro. It has so many cool automated features like having it stop/start charging at certain threshold, connecting to my Delta Pro via wifi, and has a clean, intuitive interface that lets me know what’s going on without the need to look at the manual. I’ve had this battery since January and I’ve loved it so much I’ve ordered another one just last week. It’s heavy (100 lbs) but it’s still portable and useful enough for me to take on camping trips this summer (along with the EcoFlow Wave) for a more luxurious camping experience. I’ve bought a couple of extra batteries for the Delta Pro as well and I should be better prepared for the next power outage. If you’re looking for the best portable emergency backup battery, you’ve found it.

Great choice for a backup battery. Charges in the Oly charger and has the staying power of the original. Not much more to be said.

Backup charging for when I need it. This availability of the solar charging system was the answer to one of my main concerns regarding using the battery backup during a power outage.

I use this battery cartridge in my APC J10 J Type Power Conditioner with Battery Backup. There are many components plugged into this device. It gives me comfort to know that my electronic equipment is getting the right power and will give me uninterrupted service. One power glitch could cost me much more than the price of the unit and the battery. I replace the battery every 3 years and am very happy with the security that it provides me.
