I researched all the color laser jet printers and this MFC-L8900CDW looked to be the best there is. My next dilemma was to find one as I even went to Brother to purchase one and they didn't have any. I finally found one, set up wireless connection and it works beautifully. I've had many problems in the past with HP and Canon wireless connections and it was totally frustrating as they kept loosing the connection. I love this printer and one other point is when printing it is so quiet. Believe me, you will also be happy with this printer. 5 |

After much agonizing over types, styles, prices and brand names I arrived at what would be best for my situation... instead of ink jet or mega tank the laser printer won. Now ...what kind? I chose Brother and Im thrilled at the outcome. I dont print much anymore but when I do its going to be something essential . The laser is ready , boots up smoothly, prints quickly and the page is sharp and clear. I did have a slight problem in setup., which was downloaded from the Brother site. It asked for some number that was supposedly on the printer somewhere.....it was not. So I kept looking and found another Brother site for setup and this one worked beautifully. Ot only took a minute or so and it was ready to rock. Since then Ive printed several pages for both written word and artist reditions of animals to use for hobby work and all came out perfectly. I even like the size.of the printer which has a footprint about the same dimensions as my old ink jet., but with a distinctive more compact style. And for the price I paid.....I'm super impressed. 5 |
