V-log is incredible! Some have criticized it's performance when used internally or how it only uses a portion of the available range but I have found it to be exactly what to expect from a log format. Yes it uses less range but that is so it can give more headroom for grading. See a log format isn't just a profile you slap a LUT on and there you go. Using V-log and the Panasonic LUT just seems kind of silly because you are ending up with footage not much different than a baked in camera profile. That defeats the entire purpose of shooting log which is to have the ability to create a look in post. To me log is similar to raw in how it should be approached. We shoot log to shoot as flat of a profile as possible so no look is baked in. You can then adjust the look in post. If you don't want to shoot with a look in camera and prefer to dial in your look in post then V-log is a great way to do that, just like shooting raw. If one doesn't like to grade the color then don't use V-log or raw. V-log is about having that post flexibility and if you don't want that then don't shoot V-log. V-log internal is a bit thin but it really depends on how you shoot with it and what you consider acceptable artifacts in a H264 shot. No matter what H264 8bit is a bit thin for any log format. It can still be used but it isn't optimal and it could have artifacts. The benefit to how V-log is designed however is if you do record externally at 10bit (which is something no other DSLR can do by the way) You have an almost raw like level of grading potential on the material. You still have to white balance and that gets baked into the material but you have such a flat image that the sky is the limit.

Picked up the 11-24 at the Post Office; took few shots of the steering wheel; and drove right into the Talkeetna mountains. Having used fisheyes for year I thought I would know what to do with an 11mm rectilinear...but this lens is different. My instant favorite lens for off-trail Alaska landscapes. Image quality and sharpness are excellent. Distortion is very low. Makes incredible panoramas that don't look stretched out. Heavy...but it's also a 20, 17, 14,13 and 12mm! Once in my hands weight doesn't matter! Use the 11mm most but love the zoom!

While the US Post Office took an extra week and an half to deliver this, the item arrived and it works very well. Easy to set up and works as advertised. It's light weight means you should handle carefully, I imagine. Also, since the transmitter has no power switch (it only powers when pressing the trigger) you should do what I do and remove the batteries when it's in the bag to prevent running them down. In all, definitely worth the price.

I ordered the official mount kit for my Epson 5030 projector. It only came with a 6 extension. I rated this product 5 stars because it does exactly what it promises to do. It extends my Chief RPA mount down another foot, placing the projector exactly where I want it.While I could accomplish the same thing with a $$1.5 diameter steel gas pipe from Home Depot (yes I was actually using that). I would still need to paint the pipe white to match everything else. The Chief pipe is also aluminum, not steel, so its less weight/strain on the actual mount thats bolted to the floor joists above in the ceiling. Finally the Chief pipe has a square cut out, that can be used to hide the power/HDMI cables in. Make the installation look much neater & professional. For $23 this is pretty much a no brainer. Be advised B&H photo free super saving shipping means it will ship FedEx out of Edison, NJ to a local post office. From there the post office will deliver to you. I ordered on a Friday, received on a Thursday. So expect at least a week for arrival. If you need this item faster, use UPS ground or air. UPS ground ships from NJ/NY to VA/MD/DC in one day and was only $$more. Since I was in a rush, I should have chose that option.

The shipping was unbelievably fast and product was packaged so that it could survive anything the post office could throw at it and was in perfect condition when it arrived. As always, will continue to choose B&H over every other competitor.

Product works fine. Great ND variable filter. Post office delivery is terrible. Tracking of the package is less than acceptable.

Bought it just in case. Picked up the package at the Post Office, and went out to shoot some fall foliage. I set my camera on its tripod to steady the shot. It began to rain. Pulled the Sleeve out of its package and set it up very quickly. I got some interesting shots. I was soaked, the tripod was soaked, the camera was bone dry.

I worked for many years at a post-production house where these headphones were provided as part of my edit bay. The office could be loud at times, but these blocked out most of the noise and gave a rich, immersive audio experience. I wore them between 7-10 hours per day, and only had to replace the ear pads once after about 3 years. When starting my own company, there was no question in my mind; these were the headphones that I needed in my arsenal. Whether using them out in the field or in my home office, this model has proven time and time again to be a fantastic value, and a must-have for any editor.
