Power Amp And Speakers

Bought this amp to add an extra pair of speakers to my new LCD TV... Lots of extra power for my small bookshelf speakers. I love that it doesn't have an external power supply (wall wort) so it is really off when it's turned off with the rocker switch on the front. Powers up right away with no surge pops or clicks. Simple sound controls clearly labeled and work well. Nice quality metal construction... exactly what I wanted at a great price ! I'm going to buy another one for my garage workbench !

Use the Amp to power two outdoor speakers for my pool area. Works awesome.

I'm using a legacy power amp to power my outdoor speakers as a separate zone and did not want to purchase an expensive preamp. This component let me take the line out from my receiver and sonos directly to the 300 watt power amp and control the volume. The line out was running the amp at full volume which was both too loud and distorted. Now I have full control over the input source and the amplifier volume.

I bought the MM7025 to power a pair of Acoustic Research 303's that each have a nominal impedance of 6.5 ohms and have a max. power rating of 250W. Originally, I thought I needed 200 wpc to make my speakers come alive but the MM7025 exceeded my expectations. I get great sound stage with amazing imaging and clarity. Previous to owning the MM7025, I had a 7.1 ch. home theater AVR with 100 wpc but decided to return to 2 ch. audio with a separates for greater fidelity. In operating my new system, I had to boost treble to hear the highs so the speakers sound more comparable to today's smaller speakers. Sometimes, I needed to decrease bass to hear dialog better when watching movies. This amp performs well. I'm not sure if the sound improved after some break-in time but it seemed like it did. There were a couple of times in which I thought that the volume increased slightly by itself. These experiences however could be psychological. Overall, I would buy this amp again and I recommend it to anyone who wants the power it provides.

I actually bought this amp to power my tough-to-drive home speakers (electrostatics). The bass control is amazing, and unlike so many PA amps, this one has very smooth mids and treble. Just flat, the way an amp should be. Class D is the new black. Oh yeah, and it runs cool as a cucumber.

Needed to power bedroom speakers and amp was a great replacement for a Maranz receiver that was way bulkier and less functional for my purposes. Loving the upgrade in tandem with Alexa for great voice controlled experience.

Purchased this amp to drive a small set of monitor speakers. I wasn't sure it would have enough power for my application but the size caused me to give it a try. I'm very satisfied with the results. It's very clean and clear and generates very little heat, another great feature. ...

Changing from a QSC GX5; a reliable amp but heavy with the transformer for clean power. This amp is easy to match with my QSC E series speakers used as monitors or on stands. The speakers sound so much better with the additional power and the DSP specific settings are just amazing! Other DSP settings makes me want to go with unpowered subs and get another GXD8, 1 for each stereo side.

I was looking for a modest amplifier to power some Bose Acoustimass speakers for my PC. This amp handles that task with aplomb. I have also tried running my phone audio through using the Bluetooth feature. This works quickly and efficiently with pretty decent range inside my home.

I'm using this to power an in-house music system. Ten ceiling speakers. I can't believe a 50-dollar amp works so well. Honestly amazed.
