It gives full and good resolution. I installed the driver from the website and it was very smooth process. It has vents so doesn't really overheat. The dock does require its own power adapter which is what provides all the power to the ports and also includes laptop charging. Definitely great for those that need the extra monitors or great for remote work/travelling. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Belkin USB-C 11-in-1 Multiport Dock is portable that I can travel with it in my Timbuk2 over the shoulder bag along with my 13” MacBook Pro and my 12.9” iPad Pro. The USB-C cable provides single cable connection for expansion and the pass-through power is convenient for charging my devices. I was able to connect several peripherals into their respective ports with no issues while using my MacBook Pro. My devices while resting on the dock are propped up nicely while typing, and my cables are nicely organized while connected to the dock. Altogether the dock allows for versatility and portability when expanding your laptop to a functional workstation, which is great for traveling. *One word of caution though. If you plan to purchase this dock for your iPad, only the USB-C port will function for power pass-through. You cannot connect additional peripherals into the dock, such as a USB-A drive, as it will not be read by the iPad. I would recommend this dock if you are looking to expand your laptop to function as a workstation, while also seeking USB-C compatibility and portability for travel.

For the money, this is a great little system. It plugs right into my Windows Vista computer with no issues, and Audacity recognized it without any problem at all. So far I have not had any complaints about the headphones being too quiet like I read in some reviews. But I use small in-ear earbuds, which could make a difference. I also bought this to use as a preamp with my Canon T2i. I have not tried out that functionality yet, but others have had good success. The phantom power works great using USB. Using the 9 volt battery power source added a slight bit of noise to the headphones. I have not tried recording while using the battery to see if it puts noise in the recording signal. I have been using it with an AKG c1000s microphone and have gotten very good results. The phantom power works great! I don't have the power adapter to use it as a standalone box, but having the three power sources available is very convenient. I especially like the USB power option as I primarily bought it for use with my computer. I have been using it as an external sound card and the sound is great out of it. It has stopped working a couple of times, and I had to unplug the USB cable and replug it. I'm not sure if that's my computer's fault or the box's fault. I am very happy with my purchase. It's all I need to basic recording and you really cannot beat the price or the power for the size.

I use this amp to power headphones connected to an airplay device. I use the optical connection for ultimate quality. At fist I was concerned if it could adequately drive my 300 ohm Sennheizer HD600 headphones because it is just USB powered. But when I got it, It became clear that I had nothing to worry about! Wonderful, Clean, accurate sound. Excellent for both Classical music and hot Jazz. It can also serve as a preamp, so you could connect powered speakers, or a power amp and full size speakers. Although it works well usb powered from my Mac Mini, I advise getting the AC adapter so you are not draining usb power from other usb devices. Well packaged, come with a carry pouch, good fit and Finnish, responsive customer support. Simply Excellent at any price, fantastic at this price!

Just plug it into an XLR jack on a mixer and turn on Phantom Power on the mixer to power it, and it connects to any device I have, very quickly. Not stereo. It has a power supply jack on the side of it, in case your mixer or connection doesn't have Phantom Power.
