Power Cord Won Charging Laptop Dell

Helped my Dell laptop.

Fast charging power bank, which charged my laptop at least two times.

This is my first review I have ever written (buying computers sine the 1970's), and only because this CalDigit Element is so good I was compelled to write. I have a new Dell XPS 15 inch 9530. I had options of purchasing the Dell WD22TB4 hub (made for this laptop) or getting the CalDigit. After doing a lot of research I choose the CalDigit because of the vast amount of thunderbolt ports. My Dell laptop had some issues like 4 motherboard replacements, 3 speaker replacements, one screen replacement and one keyboard (ALL IN THE FIRST YEAR). I was hesitant to buy another Dell product. I have my OEM Dell power adapter plugged into the USB-C (right side) to power the laptop because the CalDigit only delivers 60 watts which is no problem. The laptop understands which power to use. What do I gain from this decision. I have 3 empty Thunderbolt 4 ports on the CalDigit and one Thunderbolt 4 port on the laptop free (the other TB4 is used to connect the CalDigit). So I end up with: 4 Thunderbolt 4 ports free 4 USB - A (10 gb) available I have the best of both types of ports. I rather make my own decision as to what the port does instead of a hub having only a set determined specific device ports. This unit out performs any hub I have ever had. In fact the CalDigit's construction is amazingly well built and looks good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can use this charging cord while I work on my computer laptop for work. It easily connects to the USB-C port on the laptop and it only took a few minutes to charge up my phone. I was pleasantly surprised because usually the computer charging cords are slower to charge than the wall outlet. But this one worked great.

Sometimes, the 3', or 6' long power cord just won't reach. This 10' IEC power cord is significantly longer than shorter power cords!

The item is compact and is as described. But until there is a power surge I won't know if it works? The receptacles are very tight and it was difficult to plug a three prong power cord in. So don't give up. You will need a strong hand to connect the power cord to this device.

With this cord, you feel like you won't have to buy it again!

Love that the cord won't get jerked out.

This is a great charger. I was looking for something to allow charging but not require a cord between it and my phone. This power station fits the bill perfectly. The fabric top is a nice touch and its really well made.

Thanks to this cord I can now power my GH6 with a v-mount (External Charging, need battery inserted in camera as well)! Also powers my Tilta Nano II Motor!
