You buy this because you want complete compatibility with a mac and the screen is VERY nice. I did not go with the antiglare and I am happy. The power supply and new cables allow you to directly power your new MacBook Pro from the monitor! You can ditch the brick on your power strip. The sound is nice/good, but surprisingly not as good as my 8 year old iMac. You probably already know the cam is horrible, but for me, it's still usable, it could be far worse. The included cable is waaaaay too short, I think it's 30 inches. You want a longer Apple cable, the options are $129 or $159! And this to the already very high price of the monitor, and I chose the VESA mount and put a pair of these on Ergotron arms and overall am very happy. As they say, buy the best, you only cry once. 5 |
