Power Requirements For Gtx 1080

Got this to replace gtx 1080 ti.. went from 170 fps on asetta corsa benchmark to 370 fps.. this card has no problem with iracing using quest 3 at max res and 120 refresh..

Wow. The graphics are incredible (using ASUS ROG GTX 1080 A8G STRIX) and gameplay is very fun and realistic.

Cameras have weird power requirements, but once you reconcile with that, this is a flawless link in the chain.

I am using this with a Tivo Bolt. It is mounted outside of the Tivo case since the case only has room for a 2.5 drive, which failed. This drive has low power requirements, runs quietly and only gets slightly warm to the touch, even without a fan.

These work great - fast and very small with only bus power requirements. I do long trips for bird photography and can make redundant backups in the field with a few of these. I have 6 and never have had a problem with them. I can easily keep a set in my pack when the situation calls for it or when flying. Highly recommended.

I'm using this to provide power to a cellphone network extender, so power requirements are modest. Set-up was easy and, so far, it seems to work as advertised, switching in the event of power loss without causing the extender to drop out, and keeping it up for about an hour. It's a fairly large unit (bigger than it appears in the photos), so make sure you have the space.
