Works well and much more than a surge protector. I used this to replace my old power strip. It works great adding 8 outlets to my stereo that can be turned on and off from the front of my equipment. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.

Do you need a surge protector? Probably not. But if you are looking for a well-made power strip with plenty of outlets this is a great choice.

This Surge Protector is the perfect size for behind my TV. I love that it has an outlet on top and botton for my bigger plugs and also the end outlet can accommodate a bigger longer plug as well. The last surge protector I had did not have them and my bigger plugs would cover up multiple oulets.
