This light provides a nice even wash, uses minimal power and stays reasonably cool. It is light-weight but very solid. I use it with a Chimera soft box and I'm very pleased with the results.

I live in Florida, have been through hurricanes that caused several days of power outages. Loosing power and not be able to wash your sweaty clothes—that accumulate quickly, is unpleasant. With this and two Delta Pros I can wash and dry clothes. They do get drained quickly, so this option is best used during emergencies. If you have a generator, you can also recharge the two Delta Pros and wash more times. You don’t even need a large generator, just one capable of charging the Delta Pros. Make sure you have the proper cables and/or adapters for your machine. Also be sure to check the voltage required before plugging any appliances in.

Extremely clear images; wide range of focus; good FOV. 10X is right at the magnification limit for handheld viewing. On a tripod it is superb and the objective lens size plus magnification produces stellar twilight factor. Overall a very solid piece of gear. A simple hack: to get rid of the annoying hard plastic ocular lens cap I cut off the objective lens end of a rifle-scope bikini cover where the elastic band begins to form a Y, then slipped it under the belt clip and stuffed the bikini cup through the Y. That leaves it tethered and silent. The best part is that it forms a nice snug hat for the ocular lens.

I purchased the inReach Mini 2 for a diving trip to Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands. Bikini is very remote and there is no Internet connectivity. I used the message feature, along with the messaging app on my iPhone, to communicate with family back home. It worked great! Also, being so remote I felt comfortable having the SOS feature if needed. I also used the waypoint feature so friends and family could keep track of our location.
