Love this thing, had a DV tape camera before and hated having to play the tape to download the DV data to the pc but this is fantastic. Uses SDHC so I loved that, and the videos are gorgious. Could use a bit more optical zoom range but nothing a X2 or X4 could not fix. 5 |

I installed in my PC and load the driver with the supplied disk, restarted the PC and my network was working fine at 10Gb speed as I tested with the video server. Connected to the internet and it was working fine until I upload the video. I found that upload speed is only 2Mb/sec. I called the ASUS support and they redirected me to download a new driver. After installing the new driver the upload and download speed working fine. I like the phone support which many other suppliers don't have. This is an awesome card at this price and human online support!! 5 |

I recently had my internet provider to increase my speed (from 150mbps download to 330mbps). It turned out that my old Wi-Fi card that I had on my PC couldn't quite handle the speed even though it was rated that it can. I bought this card out of curiosity just to see if it was the PC that was causing the bottleneck and not the card. Once I installed it, the download transfer rate just about doubled compared to the old card. In fact, the speed is about the same I'm getting if I had the network cable connected directly from the modem to the PC Ethernet port itself. Anyway, I would advise anyone to first check their wireless router or wireless modem/router to see what Wi-Fi standard it uses. If you still using an old modem/router, this card will only go as fast as that set up allows it to. 5 |
