Switch is well built with no need for power.

I’ve replaced broken light switches before, and the physical install was about the same. The only tricky part was determining which wire was the Load, as I’m not good with a voltmeter. But there are only two choices, so I got it right. Connecting the switch to my home network worked on the first try. The physical switch is different than a traditional mechanical decora-style switch and took some getting used to, but I find it easy to use. I wish the app had the ability to setup an “away from home” mode, where the start and end times for the switch vary automatically every day to give the house a more lived in appearance. I accomplished this by having different schedules for each day of the week, which works but is annoying for the six switches in my house. Overall I’m satisfied after a couple of weeks.

Highlights: physical on/off switch informative lights stable operation I've gone through many modems because of feature and stability issues. This one has been reliable for an entire year, easily sustaining 1 gigabit downloads. The lights communicate status both with activity and color, leading to easy troubleshooting. The physical on/off button with a good click is nice to have, as opposed to pulling a plug. The power adapter is small and conveniently oriented so that it can sit on a power strip without consuming extra outlets.

The physical size, the weight and the status screen all make for a fantastic power source. I use it with my BMPCC4k and I love that I now have hrs of power but also have a better readout on the status of the battery which is difficult to do with my previous Sony L series batteries.
