Powered Studio Monitor Speakers With Subwoofer

I replaced my passive Logitech computer speakers with a pair of the Audioengine A2+ speakers and a small 6.5 powered subwoofer. This is a great combination for listening to streaming videos and music in my small office. I use the USB input for the signal from my computer and the RCA outputs to send a signal to the powered subwoofer (Acoustic Audio PSW-6 purchased separately). Shown in the pictures on the Audioengine DS1 stands. The only con is the volume knob is on the back. I would purchase them again.

I bought this for my Genelec 7350A 8 inch Powered Studio Subwoofer and it fits/works perfectly.

This is my first set of proper studio monitors. Previously, I had been using Sony bookshelf speakers with a subwoofer and a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 990 pro headphones. I really like these JBL 306 monitors. In my 10x10 room these speakers produce plenty of bass, even for electronic music a subwoofer would be overkill. I bought mine on sale for $240, yet I think they are worth at least the $400 original price tag. For small to medium studios I think these 306’s are perfect, I think the 308’s would be a waste of money and a waste of space.

Polk Audio XT10 Powered Subwoofer is replacing an Advent 12" powered subwoofer that is nearly 20 years old. The Polk unit is smaller than my older unit and it puts out a cleaner and crisper sound. Setup took less than 5 minutes. I am using this for few more days before I make any volume adjustments, if they are needed. This is a great unit for the price!

I have powered up my old Tannoy System 8 monitors in my home studio after using various powered speakers the past few years. This little Pyle amp makes them sound as good or better than my old Kenwood that pooped out 10 years ago. They have such good bass that I don't need a sub. I am pleasantly surprised by this inexpensive piece of gear. I even like the the blue light. Go Pyle!

Wow. Wow. wow. The quality of this DAC is out of this world. I am using this DAC with my Yamaha HS8 powered studio monitor speakers. Before this iFi DAC, I thought I had purchased cheap speakers ($750 for the pair). After installing this DAC, my speakers sound like $7500 speakers. The DAC provides such depth and breadth that you think you are in a real studio with very expensive equipment. even though the front panel has a POWER MATCH and TRUEBASS buttons to enhance the audio, I find the FIXED switch on the back that passes the signal with no enhancement a better option.

I was looking for a compact stereo speaker/subwoofer combination as a reference/mixdown monitor for my project studio. The Cyber Acoustics CA-3908 perfectly fills the bill! Easy setup with a unique control pod that takes little space - headphone and aux jacks on the pod are a nice touch. The sound is AMAZING - brilliant highs, balanced mid-frequencies, and a VERY responsive sub-woofer make for an outstanding listening experience! For desktop and laptop computers, this is a no-brainer; in fact, if you watch movies on your computer, this system will make soundtracks REALLY come to life! We needed a well-built outlet strip for our church's two keyboards and their powered monitor speakers. This unit with its 15ft power cord works perfectly for our installation.
