Powerex 2700 Rechargeable Batteries

Been in use for several months. Does the job well for Powerex Pro Rechargeable batteries that I get in eight packs.

I shoot a lot of actor headshots/portraits for a local theater company. After constantly replacing AA batteries in my Canon Speedlites, I tried out four Powerex rechargeable batteries. They were such an improvement that I finally broke down and purchased the Powerex MH-C980 charger-analyzer to replace my smaller charger and enough additional batteries so that I can use rechargeable batteries in all three Speedlites. Thus far, I am exceedingly pleased. The batteries charged quickly and the charger gives me a pretty good idea of how long it will take to recharge. Now, I can be sure I have fully enough charged batteries before I go to a shoot. I just charge them all up before the shoot. I was also pleased to see that the batteries came with carrying cases, so I've now got a handy way of storing all these batteries as well.

I purchased this, not for analyzing rechargeable batteries, but for measuring capacity of several different brands of lithium AA batteries. There is a common knockoff of this product that didn't actually work for my use case, but I did use it for charging batteries, and I can say that the user interface of the Powerex is much more intuitive and easier to use. As far as customer service, I emailed Powerex to find out if this would do what I was trying to do, and a representative called me and let me know that while it is not an officially supported use, it would work, which proved to be true. I would definitely buy more products from them after having that experience.

I've been buying and using Powerex Pro rechargeable batteries for more than ten years in my underwater strobes. You get what you pay for; these batteries are an excellent example. I wouldn't use anything else.

I've been using Powerex AA rechargeable batteries for several years. I recently purchased 2 new 8 packs and put them to good use in a 5hour corporate assignment. To my surprise I used 12 batteries (4 in my Canon speedlite and 8 in my Canon battery pack) and fired 470 shots. Never had to change batteries. Reliable peace of mind power.

Good rechargeable batteries. Purchased because of the 1,000mAh rating. I have multiple Powerex batteries in different sizes. All have worked well to date, with a nice shelf life. Reasonably priced.

I constantly am recharging AA batteries and have not found better than Powerex.
