Practical Band Instrument Repair Manual

We have bought cheapo's before, and one of them came separated (The band came out of the clip). I was able to make a permanent repair so it's still useful. The Impact brand has much better quality materials (reflectors anyway, not sure if the band joint will separate with use). The white is not as translucent as the cheap one, so will give better results. 5 |

Wow, this works really well. I bought it for the band at our church. Makes it very easy for someone who plays an instrument and sings to have a decent in-ear monitor without spending a fortune. Very solid all-metal construction. Setup and use are very simple; the diagrams & labels silk-screened onto the top make it easy to see what should plug in where. As a nice additional touch, it doubles as a direct box for the instrument input. I highly recommend the optional MSC106 mic stand adapter if you're using this on stage. Only drawback is that you need a long cable or an extension for your ear monitor / headphones. If you mount this on a mic or music stand, you don't have a lot of room to move. We'll be buying a mix of these and the 1-channel PM50s to move our whole band to in-ear monitors. 5 |

We use a snake combining vocal mic, instrument mics, D.I.s, and monitor cables for each band member, running to their area of the stage from the stage digital mixer, and this product makes it easy to customize those changes and change out cables when necessary. 5 |

If anyone in your band wants more me control of their in-ear foldback for both their vocals and an instrument (or two instruments), then this is THE box for them! Ok so it costs more than the 2 channel competition, but this has the essential 3rd channel the others lack, plus an integral stereo DI box, so the total cost is much the same. What is really nice is the way it can be set for mono or stereo inputs on both the instrument channel and the main foldback. The cct diagram even contains instructions to convert the mic channel for line level inputs. A really useful box, and a much better buy in real terms than the competing products, for use by real musicians! 5 |

This little gem simply exudes quality and elegance! From the moment that I opened the perfectly fitted packaging, I could see that this was a truly superior instrument. The build quality is outstanding, and the image is crisp and clear from edge to edge; color rendition is excellent The view while wearing glasses is no problem due to the well-designed retractable eyecup. The included leather case is also extremely elegantperhaps too elegant to take into the field. It is also rather bulky which somewhat defeats the purpose of buying a compact monocular. I simply aquired a small nylon pouch which I find to be much more practical. The close-up lens is an interesting feature, but I really foresee no practical use for it. Something not mentioned in the product description is that a nice wrist strap is included, but I ordered the optional neck strap which I find to be much more useful. Some reviews that I have read about monoculars mention that they are hard to hold steady, but this is not true as long as they are held properly. Any 8X instrument requires two hands to holdmonOCULAR means one eye, not one hand! Overall, I find this to be a highly useful glass for the vast majority of my viewing needsIt fills a previously empty niche in the world of optics. As capable as the Monovid is though, I whish that Leica would offer one with a larger objective, like 32mm... this would not add much to the size and weight, but would result in performance equal to the full-size binoculars. One other thing not mentioned in the product description is that the Monovid is made in PortugalI knew that Leica has production facilities there, but was a bit surprised. I have read though, that some consider the Portuguese Leica optics to be sharper than those produced in Germany. I consider the price of the Monovid to be a real bargain for a piece of this quality! 5 |

I had a manual Disc repair that worked OK but you could really see the swirls. My neighbor loaned us some store bought DVDs which had scratches because they have a kid also. I asked them if we could use this Repair tool on disney's Toy Story 3. It took out all the scratch marks except for one very deep scratch,. No swirls!! (Well you have to look under an incandescent light at just the right angle to see super fine swirls). This really does as advertised cleans up to 99% scratches. And it's already payed for itself after restoring only 2 discs. Of course we are restoring all our scratched DVDs. Well worth the money! 5 |

Lensbaby Sol 45mm is quality instrument. I've used it in several settings and it performs exactly as advertised. I really liked using manual focusing as well as the ability to change the focal point, to direct the eye to a particular place on the image. The lens also feels great in your hands. 5 |

Wonderful instrument. I have a manual Sekonic, but if I went a few weeks without using it, I had to figure it out all over again. This L478 DR is so fast to make a change, it's actually fun. 5 |

I use this lens for Astrophotography. Manual focusing is very important. I attach a millimeter scale to the lens Focus Scaline Ring. I use a lens band to prevent creep. Auto focus lenses do not work very well at night, and manual focusing them is not easy. They are not designed for manual focusing. Some of these lenses have focus rings that slip. The focus scale may be under plastic. This results in Parallax error. Most Autofocus lenses also require a lens band to prevent creep. 5 |

Except for the lack of a 6G band, the lack of a manual, and bugs that will surely be fixed with firmware updates, I love it. For the details, look at the specs and the many reviews for this new router from ASUS. It's only dual-band, but I wanted the ports. For now, it needs some bug fixes and a manual to download. A Fire TV Stick is the only device that will not connect to it. I put the Fire TV Stick on a guest network using WPA2 instead of WPA3, and it connected (that has to be the Fire TV Stick's problem). I am using the 10G WAN for the internet and the SPF+ 10G for a switch, and everything is running very fast. I prefer the ASUSWRT/ASUSWRT-Merlin interface over all others I've used. Finally, the price is right for what you get. 5 |
