Presonus Central Station Studio Monitoring System

I have a small space in my home for my A/V post production studio. Changing the monitoring between all my A/V sources has always been a big pain in the butt. This new monitor station V2 has eliminated all the pain. It's small footprint makes it perfect to sit on my desktop right next to my computers keyboard. The genius designers at Presonus have left nothing out. Plug all the audio sources in, turn it on and you'll have all the same quality monitoring selection choices that you'll find in any million dollar recording or post production studio including S/PDIF. Make sure that you read the well written, completely documented and profusely illustrated Owners manual. The new Presonus Monitoring Station V2 is an excellent product.

I have had the Presonus Audiobox 44 VSL for since March of 2012, and honestly, I had never really turned it off, because it had no off switch. The Audiobox finally starting going out, so I did research and got this PreSonus Studio 24c, and it has been doing an excellent job so far! I use it with Garage Band and my sons use it to do there music for YouTube. I also produce music using PreSonus and it does not disappoint. All of my music on my youtube page was produced using PreSonus AudioBox, and this Studio 24c is vibing just as good, if not better than the AudioBox. This unit from Presonus is a great monitoring solution looking for a problem. It does exactly what the product description says it will do. And it can be daisychained a huge plus.

This is the third of these amps I've bought-- this one for the home studio monitoring system. The other two are used for an annual broadway musical I do sound for and Crown just makes a superior product.

I have a project studio in a rental apartment so am a bit limited as to modifications that can be made for acoustic treatment; the room is very minimally treated and I knew some of its problems already. The room correction results I was able to get using the IK Multimedia ARC Studio v4 are quite impressive for my monitoring system (Heritage Audio RAM System 2000, Mackie HRS10 Sub and HR624mkII monitors). Currently, I have limited the range of the correction to the HR624s from about 53Hz to 16kHz, but once you have taken all the measurements (takes around 10 minutes for 21 points - very simple) it's very easy to change frequency ranges and target curves; the resulting sound is incredible given my room and monitoring system. Is it perfect - no - but given the starting point it's tremendously better; I think this is evidenced in the before and after graphs, but the graphs don't do justice to just how much better the resulting sound is; sound stage and separation are drastically increased, lows tightened, mids evened out and vocals have become much clearer. Should you purchase it? While there is no substitute for a well treated room - $300 (the cost of the ARC system) is probably not going to get you very far in traps, diffusers, absorbers, etc. (even if you DIY) - and your room will still have problems; so, for my use cases and budget it was definitely worth a try. I think that it will be my best studio purchase of 2024. Perhaps it will be yours also?

I am using this mic arm and riser system in my home-based audio studio. It is the same system used at the radio station where I worked. It is sturdy and works perfectly.

Needed to replace my LOST power supply. Waiting for an original equipment replacement was the only SECURE / SAFE way to happen here. My PreSonus Central Station is back performing. There's more PSUs than you can count OUT THERE. The Central Station needs a special continuous DC output. It's all in the details.

I've gotten a real kick out this lens. Incredible field of view ( like all of Grand Central Station). Fisheye distortion is many times cool, but can be lessened in LR if desired. Very sharp focus ( manual only). Metering works well with my Nikon d750. Mounting and removing lens is a bit stiff. F 2.8 capability a big plus. Got it on sale, but even at its regular price, it's an excellent value.

I use the stand to hold my Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2 in my home studio and it works great.
