Presonus Monitor Station Desktop Studio Control Center

I have had the Presonus Audiobox 44 VSL for since March of 2012, and honestly, I had never really turned it off, because it had no off switch. The Audiobox finally starting going out, so I did research and got this PreSonus Studio 24c, and it has been doing an excellent job so far! I use it with Garage Band and my sons use it to do there music for YouTube. I also produce music using PreSonus and it does not disappoint. All of my music on my youtube page was produced using PreSonus AudioBox, and this Studio 24c is vibing just as good, if not better than the AudioBox. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This usb-c docking station is really great to have. If like me you have an ultra book style laptop or newer macs, everything on the computer is connected through the usb-c ports… great, they are fast and can do tons of stuff, but most of my other stuff isn’t usb-c. Also, even though I have a big desktop, I don’t want to constantly send files or copy them to work more comfortably on it, that’s where I really love this. I really love how docking station works as a 1 plug transformation into a desktop. It has its own power supply, so no need to plug your charger in, it works with my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and external drives, all plug and play and all through the single usb-c. I have also set it up to share my desktop monitor… so I’ve just plugged everything in and leave it on my desk at home, so all I need to do is plug the one cable in, and for the monitor, switch it over and laptop becomes desktop. If like me you have to move around a lot with you laptop but much prefer a desktop, this is what you need, I really do love it! It’s nicely made and size wise it fits nicely under my monitor and has loads of connections so it should be perfect for most needs. I highly recommend this!

The power center makes organizing a variety of equipment in my studio easy. I can control what is powered on item by item or all at once when it is time to shut down. Quality product built to last.

This monitor is very high quality and picture is great even standing right at it. This monitor will be great for our new control center operations and monitoring screen.

In our radio station we use this amp to distribute monitor audio to studio monitors, CD recorders, MP3 recorders and phone system. The adjustable levels on each output support broadcast and consumer equipment looking for -10 or +4 levels. This DA is built like a tank. As our first piece of Rolls gear at a very nice cost, we will be considering their other gear in the future.

i had previously skimped on monitors, had $100/pair presonus eris e3.5 that sounded pretty good but only as desktop speakers, not appropriate for mixing at all. these kali's have really changed the game for me. the amount of bass these can put out gives so much presence to them, they get lowwww. fantastic high freq detail and even response, the built in eq definitely helped flatten things since i have them on desktop stands. soundstage is incredible, rivaling my $900 kanto tuk listening speakers with amt tweeters. these are an investment for a starting producer but a worthy one, i know my mixes will be improved from here on out. sometime in the future i hope to get the kali in-5s at whatever their updated version is, but the quality is so good on these i cant imagine how it will get better haha. also the white colorway is just gorgeous

I use the stand to hold my Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2 in my home studio and it works great.

I use the LSP-2 to interface a Mac Pro to a PreSonus Studio Live Mixing console. I chose the LSP-2 so that I can maintain a proper separation of left and right channels via XLR connections to the mixing console. I am using the line out on the Mac to the LSP-2, although you can also utilize the Mini USB to interface with your PC or MAC. I am basically using this device as an alternative to using a DAC. This solution allows the ability to individually control the gains and output of each channel. I recommend the LSP-2 over the LSP-1, as having the ability to individually control each channel is the only way to go.

Have used this just a coupe of times but it seems to work fine. Adjustable pattern and gain control. PreSonus software appears very comprehensive although looks like it will have a fairly steep learning curve coming from the non audio side of things.

I recently upgraded my studio with a 16-in/16/out audio interface, but with no headphone jack and no monitor control. This little box solved my monitor control issue perfectly. Extremely transparent to my ears, very solid build, all the controls have a nice feel to them, and great looks. The wood sides are more of a walnut color than what's shown on the website, which was perfect. Highly recommended.
