I have had the Presonus Audiobox 44 VSL for since March of 2012, and honestly, I had never really turned it off, because it had no off switch. The Audiobox finally starting going out, so I did research and got this PreSonus Studio 24c, and it has been doing an excellent job so far! I use it with Garage Band and my sons use it to do there music for YouTube. I also produce music using PreSonus and it does not disappoint. All of my music on my youtube page was produced using PreSonus AudioBox, and this Studio 24c is vibing just as good, if not better than the AudioBox. I replaced my active monitors with the ELAC speakers and a Yamaha integrated amplifier. Since the ELAC has coaxial arrangement of tweeter + midrange, I felt it would work fine for near field listening. I'm very happy with the result. With nothing playing, the combination of amp with passive speakers has no background hiss. My old monitors had audible hiss and non-defeatable auto-shutoff unless the playback was kept sufficiently loud. I'm using an RME ADI-2 DAC feeding the Yamaha amp. I chose ELAC's Satin White with Oak Sides to escape the all-black look of my old monitors. 5 |

Better than I expected. A couple of reviewers mentioned a constant hiss. I cannot hear any hiss. I'm using a pair of these monitors with my iMac to digitize vinyl. I use a Korg DAC, DSD capable, and a passive volume controller. The Korg has RCA outputs. I heard noises when using an RCA to 1/8 cable from the Korg to the volume controller. Then I changed to an RCA to XLR cable and the noise is gone. I use XLR cables from the volume controller to the monitors. 5 |

i had previously skimped on monitors, had $100/pair presonus eris e3.5 that sounded pretty good but only as desktop speakers, not appropriate for mixing at all. these kali's have really changed the game for me. the amount of bass these can put out gives so much presence to them, they get lowwww. fantastic high freq detail and even response, the built in eq definitely helped flatten things since i have them on desktop stands. soundstage is incredible, rivaling my $900 kanto tuk listening speakers with amt tweeters. these are an investment for a starting producer but a worthy one, i know my mixes will be improved from here on out. sometime in the future i hope to get the kali in-5s at whatever their updated version is, but the quality is so good on these i cant imagine how it will get better haha. also the white colorway is just gorgeous 5 |

I have a pair of Presonus Eris e5 XT monitors, which are on a slightly bigger side and these stands work just fine. I use them with the higher riser option and at the steepest angle and they feel stable. Note that some assembly is required, everything comes tightly packaged in a box and you do have to study the manual for a few minutes to understand all the possible configurations and then connect the parts, screw them in place, attach the pads, but you should be done in less than half an hour. 5 |

Bought these for my PreSonus 4.5 Ceres monitors that I use with my computer and shortly for my home studio. Before this they were sitting on my wood desktop and when I played them at a higher volume I got a great vibration through the desk. When I added these, the vibration is gone at any volume and the sound us pure and crisp. 5 |

I have a 24 track Studio Live, an eight track Firestudio and I have added this 2 input Presonus unit for traveling with a laptop. Great unit and it interfaces with all presonus stuff. 5 |
