Presonus Studio One Zero Latency Monitoring

I have a small space in my home for my A/V post production studio. Changing the monitoring between all my A/V sources has always been a big pain in the butt. This new monitor station V2 has eliminated all the pain. It's small footprint makes it perfect to sit on my desktop right next to my computers keyboard. The genius designers at Presonus have left nothing out. Plug all the audio sources in, turn it on and you'll have all the same quality monitoring selection choices that you'll find in any million dollar recording or post production studio including S/PDIF. Make sure that you read the well written, completely documented and profusely illustrated Owners manual. The new Presonus Monitoring Station V2 is an excellent product.

I have had the Presonus Audiobox 44 VSL for since March of 2012, and honestly, I had never really turned it off, because it had no off switch. The Audiobox finally starting going out, so I did research and got this PreSonus Studio 24c, and it has been doing an excellent job so far! I use it with Garage Band and my sons use it to do there music for YouTube. I also produce music using PreSonus and it does not disappoint. All of my music on my youtube page was produced using PreSonus AudioBox, and this Studio 24c is vibing just as good, if not better than the AudioBox. I have tried and purchased USB microphones in the past few years but this is the best yet. The Zero latency and true variable patterns make a huge difference. The sound is the closest yet to the mics I used in radio and in the recording studio. So far, I have no complaints. My plan is to use it to record audio books and documentary voice over. The thing just looks cool too!

This unit from Presonus is a great monitoring solution looking for a problem. It does exactly what the product description says it will do. And it can be daisychained a huge plus.

I'm extremely amazed at the quality of this device. I use it for DJ IEM monitoring and there is practically 0-latency for all intents and purposes. Being hands and wire free makes life so much simpler. Setup time was maybe 10mins (probably faster) since I was reading the manual first. Love the limiter and sensitivity functions. Pairing was easy . . .still just in awe of the superior quality of Sennheiser.

I used this to be able to record on Pro Tools LE w/o latency. One signal went to tape and one to a mixing board for monitoring. The signal sounded the same after being split. The level was the same. It did what it's supposed to do.

I have a 24 track Studio Live, an eight track Firestudio and I have added this 2 input Presonus unit for traveling with a laptop. Great unit and it interfaces with all presonus stuff.

I purchased this in 2022 for a new music studio. It is a great compact 16x4 channel audio mixer. Includes 4 stereo input channels as well as 2 internal effects buss. While it is no longer in production by PreSonus, nor directly supported, you can still get current up to date software and drivers and applications from PreSonus, technical support discussions via email and plenty of user discussions and templates on how to use it. Fully automated, it can be augmented with the free PreSonus Capture & Universal Control software to connect from a computer hands free in Windows & even set up as the default Windows Audio device. Mac users also! Although my review is August 2024, it is still my only digital mixer in the studio. I would suggest buying any protection offered by B&H. This mixer has both a Firewire and a USB specific model, so make sure you understand the interface if you will be using this with a computer. There are plenty YouTube videos on many topics regarding this device. There is even training software offered from many vendors that cover the mixer functionality in great depth. PreSonus has many videos on functionality with its DAW software Studio One. Here's a great video: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edeXxmRZ0rU) A fantastic way to mix live as well as digital software music from a computer. XLR inputs, +48v power for Condenser mics, 1/4 and RCA audio inputs, Talkback, Main outputs, Aux (4 ch buss) outputs and software Buss functionality thru Universal Control. This product comes with some application software after registration. Mine came with Studio One Artist - check their web site after registration.

I bought this to supplement my Manley and Presonus preamps in my studio. The ISA One is VERY transparent, and sounds great on any mic I plug into it. Plus the headphone out option is very handy when tracking vocalists in the booth so I can hear them while I'm arming and disarming tracks without any cutout in my monitors. Great value and very portable.
