Pressure Wash Before And After

My wife accidentally tossed my original Pro Pen 2 into the wash and while it was usable after drying out, much of the pressure sensitivity was gone. I had been getting by with the original Pro Pen since Wacom has been sold out of the Pro Pen 2 since introducing it, but you quickly miss 8k levels of pressure sensitivity, so being able to pick this up was a life saver.

After trying both VSGO and Visible Dust (all three liquids), I finally achieved a completely spot free sensor with these swabs. In addition, the type 2 swab size was just about perfect for a horizontal swipe of a D500 sensor. VSGO swabs (16mm) were too small; Visible Dust (Green APSC) were too big. The ultra swabs do need more liquid, according to Photographic Solutions (I used 7 or 8 drops), and one needs to apply adequate pressure (see their video), after getting the feel of the swabs and pressure, the third time did the trick. I got a completely black (Lightroom visualize spots display) sensor at f/16 of the empty blue sky.

I stopped by the B&H booth at NAB 2024 to thank them for creating such a flawless purchasing experience that felt like I was on Amazon with free 2-day shipping and all. My first purchase for my first YouTube video studio were these poles. After using a 13' crossbar with a couple superclamps I realized I could get EVERYTHING off the floor and mounted and wired overhead. THEN after a few more poles and 8' crossbars I realized that the whole structure (need at least 3 poles and crossbars) becomes self supporting and the gentle pressure on the ceiling is just to get the structure started. After it's all clamped together well, the pressure is on the poles and floor and not the ceiling. I'm renting my space so when I move to a bigger space there will be no trace I had built a superstructure with these poles and Impact crossbars PLUS I wasn't afraid my co-workers and guests would kick or trip on anything. Super happy guy here and I'm not exaggerating.

After a lot of research, I landed on the Peak Design Wash Pouch as my go-to for hauling toiletries on trips. I loved it so much that I bought one for my dad for Christmas this year, too! I'm a big fan of all the individual pockets and compartments for my products — I can fit so many items into the convenient rectangle pouch. My one complaint is that the zippered pocket meant for razors developed a small rip from the razor blade. If PD makes an update, I'd recommend reinforcing the fabric of that particular pocket.

After doing wayyy to much research on Dopp kit/ wash bags I decided on this one. I couldn’t be happier as usual Peak Design made a product that makes sense and the quality is just amazing.

After traveling with the standard wash pouch for a few years, I started to reduce my toiletries pack out which left a lot of unused space in the standard wash pouch. With the new wash pouch, I am able to save a decent amount of space for other things. They also fixed the one functional gripe I had with the standard wash pouch - the quip toothbrush with cap now fits in the toothbrush pocket. Looking forward to a small tech pouch now that I travel with less electronic gear too!

Before calibrating my monitor printing was just not working. After calibrating the monitor it was much better but still wasn't quite right. Calibrating the paper for your printer which is what this kit allows you to do is really the best. I know some companies will profile your printer on their paper but with this you can do it yourself and not have to wait for the profile to come back ... this takes very little time, is very easy to use and works brilliantly!

Before, it was impossible to hold the camera one handed, which is ridiculous for a camera this small. After, easy peasy.
