I stopped by the B&H booth at NAB 2024 to thank them for creating such a flawless purchasing experience that felt like I was on Amazon with free 2-day shipping and all. My first purchase for my first YouTube video studio were these poles. After using a 13' crossbar with a couple superclamps I realized I could get EVERYTHING off the floor and mounted and wired overhead. THEN after a few more poles and 8' crossbars I realized that the whole structure (need at least 3 poles and crossbars) becomes self supporting and the gentle pressure on the ceiling is just to get the structure started. After it's all clamped together well, the pressure is on the poles and floor and not the ceiling. I'm renting my space so when I move to a bigger space there will be no trace I had built a superstructure with these poles and Impact crossbars PLUS I wasn't afraid my co-workers and guests would kick or trip on anything. Super happy guy here and I'm not exaggerating. 5 |

Beautiful fit and finish as all Triad-Orbit products. Works alone as low stand for camera/light/mic. Mounts from above or below via attachment holes. Bottom includes thin rubber layer to provide isolation from desk, table, floor, wall, ceiling or whatever it is attached. I plan to buy more. Very adaptable attachment. I have a beautiful piece of tropical hardwood that I plan to attach to the bottom to provide more stability for my desk mic stand, and attached a Triad-Orbit IO-A1 Extendable Boom Arm, it fits perfectly on my desk. It looks great! I record Kirtan music where the musicians sit on the floor and it has proven very useful in this application. I have used it with a Wildtronics Pro Mini Parabolic Mic to make bird and ambiance field recordings in Costa Rica. It travels well. 5 |
