I don't develop frequently and therefore like this developer for its convenience as it allows me to mix one shot working solution for just the amount of volume I need, instead of having to make large volume and then throw it away if unused for a while.

Super easy to mix. Stock solution lasts for months. Mixed solution is good for 30-50 rolls. Clears film quickly.

I have many types of batteries and lots of chargers but this solution is the best - 1 charger - many plates for different batteries - mix and match even!

I try to mix it up and use a different stock every time, sometimes expired, sometimes experimenting with pushing/pulling, but when I'm shooting something I care about and it has to be good, I always come back to ol' reliable, Portra 160.

ID-11 is easy to mix. It produces excellent negatives using it as stock, or diluted 1:1 or 1:2. I have used it all three ways and been very satisfied each time.

While it's not quite as simple to mix as other paper developers, it's well worth the extra effort. Just make sure you mix the stock solution within 6 months.
