I just purchased a Prima Photo Large travel tripod for occasional use, and did not want to spend a fortune on one. Since my main tripod is Manfrotto and I use their PL 200 plates and found it to be a hassle to switch plates. I purchased this Sunwayphoto Mac-14 plate and it works great! Holds the camera and heavy lens very tight and solid. I did need to buy an 8mm screw to fasten to the ball head, but no big deal, only about a dollar. The bubble level comes in handy also. I can now leave the Manfrotto plate on the camera and use either tripod with ease. This is very well made product. 5 |
