I'm using this as a secondary drive with a primary Adata SX900 64GB SSD + Avant 32GB SSD Windows slave/Pagefile drive. If you're not forking the dough out for a hybrid SSD drive, these 64MB Barracudas are the drives to grab for backup/storage/large programs/media. This drive sustains 160MB/s transfer from my SSD's and I can backup my entire SSD drive in just a few minutes. I may add another for RAID 0 in the future to see if I can approach my SSD's 400+MB/s read speeds. Latency isn't anything special though, so this drive is better used as an SSD companion versus an OS drive. 5 |

Used as a secondary drive in a Lorex camera system after primary drive had filled. Installed for a couple weeks now and no issues - working great. Primary drive is full so all writes are going to this drive. 5 |

It was a great price and very easy to install. I first install it on the secondary port, replicated my primary 500MB drive and then moved it to the primary slot. I had to expand the logical partition to take full advantage of the 2TB and that was it. Faster, bigger, cheaper and the process was a breeze.. Thank you B&H !! 5 |

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it! 5 |
